Your bro is not an idiot. He's 13, and he didn't know better. And bottom like is that he shouldn't have access to airsoft guns without adult supervision. Sorry, but it's your parents that are idiots for letting him have an airsoft gun at that age unsupervised, even if it is clearsoft.

I haven't heard anything out of Kenora, Atikokan, or the Fort, and I'm only aquaintances with towns east of Thunder Bay on both 17 and 11. But it's also alot easier to find places to play up there. Everyone and their dog has a plot of land out in the middle of the bush somewhere so you pick the one most hidden from public eye (the one way down at the very end of that old logging road) and notify the neighbors/LE of what's going down. Generally the neighbors don't care since they are probably hunters themselves and might even join in if you've got a spare gun and the LE is generally intrigued by it.
