I've been asking around the industry, so this is 3rd, 4th, or 19th hand information. Remember that I'm not a producer, I'm a customer, so this isn't shop talk, this is biasing me to buy their stuff.

Was talking about the increase in Pakastan in making tactical nylon, how there actually is some very decent (for the price point) gear. Often the quality of Blackhawk, but not Eagle. Was told that Flyye is making some stuff in Pakastan, the same company that makes Felix tacitcal stuff... asked him to repeat that... I am -lead to believe- that Felix Tactical is more of a marketing and design firm, that outsources their large runs to Pakastan for production.

They did say that it's one of the best manufacturers in Pakastan, and it is high value for what you pay for the items, but it is Pakastan. I described this situation, and it the -speculation- is, TheCat might be given bad information from Pakastan and is trying to sort it out so he can give you an answer rather than passing along 'the line' that he's fed.

I realize this doesn't further your goal of getting your goods, but might help you frame future contact with Felix Tactical and understand where they're coming from.

YMMV

Thanks for the replies. Drake: Yeah pulled the whois myself, but the number is disconnected (ouch), and the other Walter isn't answering the phone.

Paypal is adamant that this isn't their problem. I'm considering contacting my bank to have them pull back the funds, but I'm not sure what will happen then.

You could also start a civil law suit against him, and contact your local police agency to determine the best way to lay charges against him.

You've been a victim of international fraud. Report it to your local police, they will follow up with the RCMP here. Simple as that.

I am not a big fan of putting my nose where it doesn’t belong – but I can’t help but be blatantly embarrassed by this – is Canada some sort of nexus for Airsoft scams in the ranking of the global community? Is another else disgusted/bothered by this – not only if this is true, but because there are many here who KNOW of this Felix the Cat character personally?

How long has Felix Tactic antics been publicised here on this forum – and where are the hard reprimands for these actions? You know, there are some of us still here who can smell this SHIT...this RUNNY SHIT a mile away – if they could be let off the proverbial leash and make an example of these types who seek only to gently covet and manipulate the easily influenced, perhaps we would not see constant reiterations of these situations, and perhaps yet more reminders of how gullible this community can be. Instead you’re told you have ‘got out of line’ and get reprimanded for saying things that might hurt someone’s financial income and reputation.

Personally if I knew where this Felix was, I’d be at his doorstep asking him what the deal was, because this is EMBARASSING to my community. Toleration is consent.

Felix – just DEAL with this situation. It’s time to show more than just photoshop proofs. You are a disappointment to (some) of this community.

There certainly seems to be a "don't rock the retailer boat" mentality around here.

Well he's not a retailler here on ASC, and his age verification status was pulled months ago to keep him out of the classifieds. He has also not been online since April.... so what else would you like done?

I dunno I think this thread is pretty conclusive that everyone doesn't approve Felix-Tac's treatment of this individual as well as his tendencies. I don't see any ASC mod approving his behaviour.

Its funny how people accuse ASC of trying to be the airsoft police, and then something like this happens and there is a cry for ASC to come up with the culprit's nuts. ASC doesn't represent this guy and his access to this board is the same as any other users and he's not a retailer. Can't really do much more than that and at least ASC is one conduit for open disclosure of this asshat (Felix, not the customer).

I'm not sure what more ASC can do... perhaps we can form a possey and virtually burn his house down..

My Post was not in relation to this particular thread per se. But ASC as a whole. I agree that the admins seem to be doing everything they can within the scope of their area of responsibility. It's just my feeling that ASC as a whole(meaning us the patrons)really does not want to rock the boat.

As one of the tiny handful of people who get to see both side of the coin, and as Bloodsport already mentioned, there's really two schools of thought on ASC: one that we should be pro-active in policing the community and another who steadfastly believe the scope of our mandate doesn't extend past the forum and we (the staff) shouldn't "butt into the community's business" (since not all airsofters in Canada are even on ASC, as some have pointed out).

We've basically done everything we can to prevent Mr.Ferguson from doing any type of business on ASC (and even cracked down on his vaporware self-promotion), but he does have his own website from which he conducts business and lists himself in several business directories, etc.

Until the community pulls together and actually ostracizes blackballed players the sanctions on ASC are somewhat moot since they can just go to another site to continue doing business with all the people who still support them.

I quoted ex-royal's message, but I was also addressing Poncho's statement.
