Armalites are not "springers" dude we're talking about the cosmetics of the real thing.

I think he is more so referring to if an armalite does not have a gas block in real life it becomes a gun requiring you to cock it after each shot. So in airsoft not having a gas block on a ar would make it similar to a springer requiring you to cock it after each shoot where as an aeg still retains semi and full.

Without a gas block and gas, there wouldn't be anything to throw the shell out of the chamber in order to load another round in. lol

EDIT. Forget what I said. -.-

I have used an ar with a faulty gas system and it was not the least bit fun to do a qualifying shoot. I was given a pass because my unit didnt have the rounds to send me through it again.

Hitman, you should throw one of these gas blocks on it and then put the flip up sight on it instead of the rail.

My point was, if your trying to build an "AR-15" you need a gas block...cause lets face it..a gas block on a AS gun is just a block, it's not needed in the least. So if your building a Fantasy gun..sure thing.

Not bad, but the MBUS is too wide lol. and that I would need the full kit with the Gas tube.

Yes, you're right, the main point of an AR is that an AR is runned through by gas, without the gas block it's just bleh. Thanks. lol

now you need two launchers to make it sexy

You may need gasblock to operate RS but this is airsoft its the matter of survival, who cares if it look authentic or not the most important factor is whether will you get out gunned.

nice build.
