Barrel changing is easy with the VFC.
There's a tool in the front gas block that comes out to reveal a hopup adjustment tool. Take off the front of it to reveal a tool that removes all the necessary screws. Remove the front section and separate the barrel assembly, and remove the barrel from the hopup. Just Swap out the barrels and reinstall.

I swapped out my stock bucking between the long and short barrels a few times with no tearing.

I have a CA scar, it works flawlessly and is a great gun! thats what I thought until i shot/inspected a VFC, seemed like a world of difference. Definetly VFC!
