I found the pic with the broken charging handle but the guy said he owned a WA M4 that he's trying to sell so he can get the WE M4.
edit: the poster said the broken charging handle is RS and has nothing to do with the WE M4.

He's never posted before that he Has the WE or knows someone who does so I'm taking this with a grain of salt.

here's the post also from Arnies http://www.arniesairsoft.co.uk/forum...post&p=1940044

It comes with an adjustable hop-up

and you can fit Magpul Ranger Plates to the Magazines as well

it was on the Taiwanese airsoft forum that people complained about important and weak parts made of pot metal instead of steel. ill give some pics

if you can read chinese heres the link http://www.arms-cool.net/forum/thread-23487-1-1.html
The good thing is WE always do free part repairs/swaps if you go to their headquarters in TW

Personally, I'll give it until about March or April for WE resolve any major issues and then look into getting one. I really hate being an early adopter of any new tech...feels a bit like being an under-paid lab rat, and that's not in my job description!

Well, the 2009 expected-purchase progression has gone something like this so far:

1. WA CQB-R M4 GBB
- wow! gotta get me that one!
- mmm, maybe not so fast...incoming field reports less than glowing re. durability
- major upgrades required out of box to make it field-ready
- will pass on this one right now...

2. Inokatsu MTW M4 GBB
- ok, price is insane but appears to be of much higher "quality" than WA
- will take a wait-n-see attitude, meanwhile build funds for possible purchase
- so far, it's the top contender until...

3. WE M4 GBB
- ok, not as realistic bolt operation as the other two but price is really attractive for both rifle and mags
- some minor mystery-metal difficulties reported but aftermarket steel upgrades will be available, and mag gas problems will probably get sorted out
- internal design based upon very reliable classic "Escort" system so durability and reliability probably not a factor
- did I mention price??

So, from where I sit at the moment, the WE occupies the top spot on my 2009 purchase calendar, pending any developments for or against it. Thanks for the "vote" of confidence DT, but I'll still leave the lab ratting to the more-cash-than-I-have folks over at Arnie's.

There's also one other possibility but that would involve an airsoft kit for my RAP4 M4, and that's a whole other discussion entirely!

Borrowed from Arnies board, the experiences of a user in Finland:

"Just got back from the woods. So I've used it for the first time in actual skirmish.

Overall accuracy and hopup seems top notch! I was able to set the hopup so that the trajectory was straight even with 0.28g BB and green gas in 5 degree Celcius rainy weather. Range even in this horrible weather seemed excellent. Definitely on a good quality AEG level. We started at 11 am and finished 15:30 pm. It was raining a bit the whole time and temperature was dropping steadily. Man my stuff is all wet... Had to disassemble the gun now, since it was soaked wet.

At the beginning the gun chronoed nice 1.5 joules (the limit was 1.6) and it kept functioning fine on semi and some short bursts I used in the game. Got actually my first eliminations with it. During the game it kept raining on and eventually, about four hours later, the temperature had dropped steadily to 1 or 2 degrees. In the last game the gun made it's first empty shots since it got so cold, and it didn't have enough power to reload a new bb (without racking the handle manually).

All in all, it was a really great experience! The gun kept going on almost the whole day and I was able to play with it, conserving ammo since I had only one magazine and a speed loader... So not many mags worth of bb's. The working of the hopup and it's accuracy seemed wonderful, even in this worst kind of weather I got play with it.

It was also fun to suprise people! A lot of people wanted to try some shots with it. And oh boy they loved it. "

Impressive that it kept working for him in 1-5 degree C weather. CO2 mags in January, year round useable...?

Where can you get one if you lived in the U.S.? Or anywhere for that matter?

How much do they go for/how much are they supposed to go for?

More importantly, WHEN?
