yeah if you charged it for 6 already, you probably trashed your battery, invest in a smart charger, wont cost you too much, and it shut off automatically when its done, you can just leave it and not worry...
If you try it for 11 you will probably melt you battery/light it on fire, you can if you want.... your battery will only hold a certain amount, if you just keep charging it more and more, all your gonna do is lower its capacity...

Well I don't know, I doubt it would light on fire, cause when I went and got it, after six hours of charging, it barely felt warm at all.
But does anybody know why the manual would then tell me to charge it for 11hours when 6 might have melted it? |

You did the math. It said 4 hours. If you've been charging it for 6 hours, you may have friend it already. Batteries that come with Krakens are the cheapest of the cheap, and it doesn't take much to kill them. With a better quality battery, it may endure a little bit of overcharging or be recoverable. These cheap ones rarely are. And if you charge it for 11 hours, you may even heat it to the point of exploding or catching fire.
I would recommend you just get a new battery. The one you have is likely dead.

lol i'm pissed! K well I might as well try to charge it for four hours, I doubt it'll work, but who knows for sure, i'm not going to be able to get a new battery before tommorow so i might as well try to recover this one.

If there's an RC shop near you, you could probably get a suitable replacement there. And if you do, also invest in a proper charger. It prevents this type of stuff from happening. Those wall-wart chargers should be thrown in the garbage as soon as you open the AEG package.

good luck with that, but for real, you will get a much better battery for less if you buy online... cheapbatterypacks.com custom built elite 1500's
or get some inttelects from airsoftparts.ca

buy a 8.4V large type Nihm battery...
Ill find a good one, hang on... http://www.cheapbatterypacks.com/mai...r=15&model=122 pick the cells in your price range, but i highly recomend the elites...

hmm, well thats a mini battery, you want a large :P mini's are for small guns and are generally concealed in handgrips.
Large type generally hold much more and are held in stocks...

I see, the weird thing is it said it was for that gun. I went to the kraken, then clicked on, accesories, and those batteries came up. So those must have been that batteries?!

maybe they do run of mini's seems wierd tho, theres space for a large, and i know TM's use larges...
