I've been waiting to find someone who actually has this gun. I've been debating whether or not to get it but I can't seem to find any good pictures except for UNCompany. Since you have one, care to post as many pics as you can?? :]

I guess I'll try to do this this week. Cause I put some new things on it.

if you want pictures you can check out
http://www.redwolfairsoft.com/redwol...l?prodID=23503

or the aresairsoft website, there's afew pics and few details about the gun
but i've heard it's a lot superior to the TM M4a1 RIS in terms of durability and FPS

Xenos-Fear if you don't mind i'd like to ask you a question (cause i'm thinking of getting that gun too)
I've read that the gun has "Bolt Locking & Functional Bolt Catch"
But honestly I don't know exactly what that means
my question is, does the T-charging handle AND the bolt catch thingy both work?
the T-charging handle (to me anyway) is the big T shaped handle (that you can pull) located right under the top rail on upper receiver, but there's another bolt catch thing i'm wondering about. it's on the right side of the gun right above the fire selector

that sounds pointless but i'd like to know if they both can be pulled
thanks mate

Like with most M4/16 airsoft guns, when the charging handle on the Star (Ares) is pulled, it releases the dust cover and draws back the fake bolt plate to reveal the hopup unit.

Unlike with most M4/16, the Star locks that fake bolt plate in place so you can adjust the hopup without having to hold the charging handle back. Press the bolt release on the left side to unlock the fake bolt plate. KA and some CA are introducing this feature now, but Ares/Star did it first.

There's no bolt catch on the right side, you're talking about the forward assist. It serves no function on the Ares/Star.

STAR ARs have real steel stock attachment right? Buffer tube/stock tube screws into lower receiver.

yeah exactly i was talking about the forward assist (i found out the correct technical term a while after i posted).
i know the charging handle serves to reveal the hop up adjust, but i had read a description something about another "pullable" handle other than the charging handle
nothing really important but i was just wondering cause it seems like Star makes very highly detailed guns as well as having the mechanics closest to real life
