some border agents steal stuff. some open the stuff for fun.
some get pictures taken with them holding private or secret promotionnal/government stuff.
a group of them lobby to be allowed to carry a weapon. ( wtf? )

That's fucked. I get my packages in less than a week and a half from HK. I just got a package from Redwolf in like 4-5 days.

They held my .45 Pistol holster for a few days to a week. $10 pst on it, but it was leather so maybe that had to do with it.

I've placed several orders with UNC, Redwolf, WGC and eHobby Asia for airsoft parts and accessories, and a recent order with Cobra Airsoft (my first with them). I have yet to be charged a penny for customs or brokerage.

Any private courier will charge and arm and a leg for their "brokerage fee". This is the #1 reason I refuse to order anything from any company anywhere in the world that uses UPS/Fed Ex/Purolator/Etc.

Canada Post is now charging either $5, or $8, to process the packages now. About 25% of my orders from HK are stopped for duty and taxes. No seizures yet. I've had about 20 orders lately in the past 2 months from Uncompany, WGC, Den Trinity, and Redwolf no problem. It just takes time. But, the fastest shipping is from Redwolf. Sometimes less than a week from the time I order.

CBSA can fuck themselves in the ass. You guys haven't had over $500 in metal metal slides and mags confiscated by customs so consider yourselves lucky.

I'm waiting for some packages too.

I just looked back at some of my old ehobby orders and I noticed that ALL of the packages say "PACKAGE WAS SENT TO CUSTOMS FOR INSPECTION" on the canada post tracking info, but i've only been charged duties maybe 3-4 times (and i'm looking back > 15 orders).

Packages seem to be backlogged right now in vancouver due to the weather. My tracking info for one of my packages has said "package was cleared by canada customs" for the past 5 days.

As for duties, I've noticed that packages sent via EMS from HK (the standard method from Redwolf, UNCompany, WGC) always seem to be inspected and have duties charged. I can tell you that i'm not the only person out there who has had to shell out close to $50 worth of duties for a systema complete mechbox. But sometimes, you luck out and although your package is inspected, you don't have duties charged.

So FINALLY the package arrived today, all bundled up in a crappy bag.. For gods sake they pulled all the pouches off and "attempted" to put them back on (upside down, not in the right order) and had my drop mag pouch not put back in the package so it was wet from the rain..

Yeah they do that. Infact they can be very famous for that. After a while they even stopped using the fancy package opened tape to reseal my parcels, they just stapled and taped it back together with regular tape, and either write "opened" on it or just leave it as is and send it my way.

my stuff came in yesterday, when tracked it said : "International item has arrived in Canada and will reviewed by customs", but when i got it it simply had the customs paperwork stuck to the box and it said "unopened" but they still charged me $17.97 for my "plastic toys"
