Have you tried un-winding the spring by pressing the little button underneath of the trigger forward?

It uses a unique/custom eg700.
You'll have better luck finding a Systema Torque up mid-length motor. btw, DON'T get the Systema Magnum. It will perform well, but the magnets are so strong that you won't be able to decock it. |

maybe you can take the LED out of your saber and motor out of your RC car and make a remote controlled airsoft flashlight sword.

ya nothing works, it needs the "mid size" engine. I tried the eg1000 long style...its too long, and the short ones are too short, so this became even gayer.

The rifle decocks fine (it was cocked when he brought it over), the motor spins when supplied direct power from a battery. His battery was only reading 4.8v. I tried different batteries (and fully charged his), with no luck. Cleaned up the routing of the wiring, general inspection, etc... I'll vouch that as of 8:30am yesterday morning, the rifle is in pristine condition. Can't vouch for the mechbox internals.
I'm not familiar with the PSG mechboxes so that's as far as it went. We did not have the time to check all the wiring for breaks/shorts/etc...We reassembled it and left it at that point. He's a good guy, and really itching to get this fixed. Hopefully, someone can point him to a gun doc that knows they're way around the PSG. Wow...the PSG mechboxes have a lot of little bits in them! I'm very familiar with PSG-1 internals. You can swing your gun my way if you're not in a huge rush for it. My schedule's a bit tied up at the moment, but I can eventually get to your gun. I can even verify your age at the time.
