afew more layers of fibreglass and it should be ok for skirmish. The problem is that it's horrible to move around in.

"I hit you!" No you dindt you hit my sheild, you have to hit me three times once for the sheild, once for the armor and once for the kill.

I can see it now.

Looking at the armour for skirmishing possibilities it has become very obvious that I made it too large for me to wear. I am making another suit for halloween/skirmishing.

The only useable parts from this suit are the forearms (which I want to redo anyway) the thigh pieces and the helmet. The rest I am willing to sell at a low price (since I didn't such a crappy job on them I don't feel right selling for more than cost of resources) PM me offers if you are interested. Otherwise I am going to trash them.

funny, I've had a few offers exceeding 200 dollars. I've also decided to give the left overs of my armour to a good friend of mine because he is actually big enough to fit in it.

Instead I am directing people to 405th. this is the respond I have been giving:

Quote:
Your best bet, and a cheaper one at that, is to construct on yourself.

All the information you need is here.

http://405th.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=1648

you will also need to calculate the size of it based on your height.

http://405th.com/forums/index.php?s=...ndpost&p=22082

Now that is for the Mark 6 armour. (halo 2)

If you want my armour (halo CE) you'll need to use my files that I created:

http://405th.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=3943&hl=

The scaling for my armour is different. The scaling that I used (6 1) was 25, but that was too large. I guessed 23.5 being a good size for a six footer so I re-released the files for that scale.

As for supplies. The bare minimum is 100 pages of 110lb cardstock. Large amount of glue. A ruler and two different coloured markers. (you need to score the lines with the marker so that the liquid makes it easier to fold)

That will make you a big papery suit. If you want to game it. you'll need to fibreglass it. Which I won't bother to tell you about because it's pretty late in the stage and the paper stuff takes a long time. (not really difficult. Just tedious)

Just PM me if you have any questions!
I am rushing though fibreglassing again, I have learnt a lot since the first set, but the temperature is dropping and that makes it difficult for the resin to cure properly.

FAMILY PHOTO

The old helmet has been sanded since. I have also figured out how to get paintball goggles to fit, so my new full face mask is a mother fucking Mjolnir helmet, bitches.

EDIT:

Some photoshop madness. I am now suddenly in the market for an SL8 (red is the relocated gearbox)
