Even getting age verified is just as difficult.

Right now, I am leaning towards CA M15A4 to use both in and outdoors, but mostly indoors.

Work schedule not the greatest for a social life.

Waiting for my next 5 day vacation to head down to TTAC3 to get verified and check out what goes on before dumping a pay check into it.

TTAC3 is always great fun. Tuesdays tend to be a quiet, good for a new player. Also the TTAC3 regulars tend to bring a whack of stuff so you will have a chance to try out a few different guns.

Maybe that's because your profile says you're 21 but you told a verifier that you just turned 18. lol!!!!111orz

Any idea on average how many regulars show up for the other nights?

I've already placed my order for the M15A4 Carbine through A&A.

Now the fun part, sitting and waiting for the shipment to arrive.

No, the fun part is when you look at your bank statement after you decided to trick out your gun, then get loads of gear, then decided you need more guns to fill other roles, then trick out those guns, then decide "I need a pistol" and so on and so forth.

Hey Skruface, You dont need 800$ to have a competitive/professional gun, i bought an ak 47 that shoots 370 fps with a .20 and its made up of steel( not including butt fore grip and clip) And the gun was only 200$ in canada!

It seems you don't understand what I wrote (I never said you needed an $800 gun), so I'll quote myself:

You can still have fun with a "lesser" gun - you won't have as much fun missing an eye of with a broken ankle....
$800 for a gun, eye protection, boots, charger, extra mags, and ammo. Assuming you don't buy crap, goggles will run you in the $50 range or more, good boots will be over $100 and as much as $300 (unless you buy surplus boots, in which case your feet will hate you), mags are gonna cost you at least $100, and a charger is gonna be $50 or more.

Just because it has a higher out-of-the-box velocity and a cast pot-metal body (steel body? I doubt it for $200) doesn't make it "professional" quality. Let me ask you this - how many airsoft guns have you owned in order to make your opinion on what airsoft "quality" is valid? How many have you repaired? Will this "steel" gun of yours still be running in another 5 years after 100,000 rounds or so, without replacing ANY parts between now and then? I know my plastic TM M4 will, and all I did was drop in metal bushings.....

You can find good surplus boots. I got a pair of surplus CF issue goretex boots from Army Issue last year and they are the most comfortable boots I have ever worn throughout all seasons and totally waterproof to boot.

Coincidence? I think not.

his AK isn't steel, it's the pot metal top cover that all AKs have. The rest is crappy plastic as what he has is a rebranded CYMA clear body.

if you are looking for a cheaper alternative try echo1, from the reviews of there guns they are a more decent alternative to the china air companies. echo1 is a usa company which re brand's JG models and upgrades the internals, you can probably purchase an echo 1 m4 for around 300-400 dollars. I'm not quite sure how an echo 1 stacks up against a tm or ca but out of the box they usually have a higher fps, and echo1 is compatible with tm parts aswell. so upgrading the model should be fairly easy in terms of finding what you want
