Yepp, you'll need to buy a G&P Lower receiver ($190) w/AR stock conversion , and a Star "club-foot", or a LMT SOP-MOD stock.

I've seen some on real ak's and they have a similar mounting style to mine so perhaps I could get my hands on one of those and then I'd have to put my battery in my fore grip. Or modify an M4 based one... I'll look at an m4 one later at my freinds house that way I can make a judgement call.

If you know how to rewire your mechbox, you can just rewire it to the rear, so you can put a battery bag, or stick a battery in the stock.

I felt the same way. It's probably just a fad so I can always undo all of it if I ever stop liking it. But right now I rather pleased with it.

whats the big deal lol, gun looks fine, actually looks good, now that its black. rds looks fine too. lay off the whole siskle and ebert thing all you critics out there.
