I also agreed with Kos-Mos. So I bought one of his Mosfets for my gun to go along with all of the upgrades which were discussed in the beginning of this thread. I also switched over to deans ultra connectors. From the research I did I concluded that there are 4 very good reasons in doing this upgrade;
1- It looks like you get close to a 10% ROF increase. 2- If I ever decide to upgrade to an 11.1V LiPo, this gun will be able to handle it. 3- It extends the life of the trigger switch and motor. 4- Trigger response is considerably faster. Basically, if you are spending $300 on upgrading your gearbox you might as well spend $63 (mosfet and 3 sets of deans) on the electrical system of the gun. I like to look at it like this; Stock trigger assembly= Analog Mosfet trigger assembly= Digital |
