I just lost my mother on wednesday, the death of a loved one is never easy.

Lisa, on behalf of the rest of the team I'd like to offer our condolences as I don't know how often the other guys come on here any longer. I really wish I'd gotten the chance to meet her but I'm glad that she's no longer in any pain and is now no longer limited to any constraints beholden to those still on this earth.
My prayers are with you and yours. Fenrir, we really gotta get off our duffs and get together to raise a glass. Lisa let us know when you're up for it. |

I lost my father due to complications of diabetes 8 years ago. I am also diabetic . . . so I know what you've experienced, but I can't claim to know how you feel. That's something private that each of us must deal with individually.
I can tell you that the hole in your heart, that place occupied by your friend, isn't really a hole. It is all pain and hurt now; in time, though, it will fill in with love and cherished memories.
