When new players think their camo will keep them totally hidden but haven't learned the art of moving slowly or quietly. Also, when they hide behind a tree that you are hiding behind when nobody saw you go there in the first place. (now everyone's looking at you) :smack:

That's what happen when you have 4 people to get home and don't want to have the car full of guns and gear towed to town. EDIT: For the record, it's not my car, nor my keys, nor me. It was a new guy hehe.

Leaving the safety on! Set up the perfect ambush, pop out and realize your gun isn't shooting for some reason, get hosed by the whole other team. Happened to, uhm, a guy I know

Leaving the barrel plug on while taking the first shots.
Leaving the safety on while trying to take the first shots. Friendly fire. Not shooting enemies because you think they're friendly. Getting lost.

I haven't played to many outdoor milsims, but with indoor games, because of the close proximity of your opponents, newbs tend to be jumpy and if surprised will unload point blank, whether your a friendly or not.

-thinking they are gods gift to airsoft.
-Setting up a business and ordering guns from the US thinking that the red tip and removed trademarks are all that is needed. -"upgrading" their AEG with no idea what's realy needed...(I've seen so many PDI 170 with plastic bushing and stripped gears and pistons I feel like crying) -Buying instead of trying and asking questions (Guilty....) -Trying to convince me that CA guns an MIMH batteries are the shitz.. yep the are indeed shit....

Haven't read all of this over but calling hits.
First game I played I was so nervous that I only called about 2/3 of my hits. Nobody said anything to me about it but I felt like a total moron... live and learn. I guess that people are a bit forgiving with new guys though, which is nice! Just make sure you clean up your act if you decide to play again (although the nervousness goes away pretty fast). |
