Truthfully I've been having some issues with Bioshot 0.32s, which is why I pulled them from the market and alerted them of this problem.
They've been receptive and acknowledge that the batch was defective. I'm working with them right now to fix things and to make sure that everything works well before releasing them to the market. If you grabbed Bioshots from me, let me know and I'll fully refund you your money. I'll also guarantee that any future Bioshots you get from me will feed properly. Regarding HS5 followers, I'll have a bunch incoming. Stay tuned. |

Tried the follower mod but I'm not sure if there is any distinguishable difference. I also stretched the springs a bit before reassembly which could have helped as well.

Tried Madbull .32's bio and they spewed like a 16 year old at a prom date after party. Glad to know I spent a couple hours filing my followers into pretty stairs just to find out it was the BB's grrrr

PTW mags are notorious for wearing out their springs on heavy ammo. Even stretching the springs 30% has limited effect.
Ended up getting MAG springs (heh), stretched those 15%, work great now. Old madbull bios had coating issues, allegedly they left a film on everything. I'm using madbull non-bio .30s to great effect, but would like to use a bio BB. Comes down to BBB .28s or madbulls (don't like green devils). |

With a two part design, wouldn't the pressure between the BBs and spring cause the 2pc follower to wedge itself against the BB channel, increasing friction?

I just solved the problem in my Beta project AK mags (PTS mags)
These would never reliably feed especially when filled to the 140 rd capacity. They have the hinged followers with the rounded point that jams up against the side and the other BB's periodically. What I did was really easy to fix and I just tested it with 7 different full mags on a 40RPS AK. It fed flawlessly the entire mag, no misfeeds at all, where there would usually be many until the mag was at least half empty. All I did was take a soldering iron with a round tip, approximately the same size as a BB. I pulled the follower up through the BB release catch so that the tip was caught above the BB release lip. I then pressed the heated solder tip into the centre of the follower and melted it until there was a round indentation that would solidly cup the bottom of a BB. This way the follower never moves off the bottom bb or slides around causing a jam. I was extremely surprised, whole mag, 140 rounds non stop to the very last BB on full auto, not one problem with .30 BB's. And it can all be done without taking the whole mag apart. Give it a try, I know these mags are going back into regular use for me now, they sat in the bag before because they did not feed reliably.

I have problems with biovals and Goldenballs. Devils, Bastard, madbull .43, and silica's is what the gun wants in its gob and bottle. Frank can you send me a sample of Madbulls? I abandoned them back in 2010 when the packaging changed their was a big quality drop. |
