How would an experienced rifle owner/operator refer to a magazine as a clip?

We are certainly allowed to make discussions about guns with a non av'd member. We are not however allowed to tell him where to acquire them.

well ill be playing at whitby airsoft off of Victoria st by whitby shores, and will be going to ultimate airsoft in Toronto which is indoors. the reason why I don't call it a magazine is because I don't see it as a proper term. There are two types of magazines, the ones you can by from stores like macks, chapters etc. My father and grandfather and I have always called them clips is for that reason because they clip into the rifle

Where do you shoot RS, also get yourself AV'd that way we can help you better and you can score some good deals on sniper rifles in the classifieds.

Classic Army M24 is the reliable budget option. Still comes with needing of proper upgrades. There is no "good out of the box" sniper rifle.

All things can be acquired for reasonable prices in Canada, and/or through the classifieds pre-upgraded. Get AV'd, and you will gain access, and avoid hassle and overpaying.

They don't "clip" in. They are inserted into a chamber, not clipped to a plate.

See, even if you're telling us the truth, this is what we refer to as a red flag, and we've dealt with this "countless" times before. You claim to be experienced, yet your terminology is incorrect at the noob level. You seem to avoid the subject of age verification, and continue to ask questions we've clearly told you we cannot answer. The system exists for a purpose. We were all treated equally, and "everyone" goes through the same system. You will be no different, or you'll be doomed to make the same mistakes as everyone else. If it weren't for ASC, and our collective efforts at responsible airsoft ownership and operation, airsoft in Canada would not be as it is today. Please consider getting age verified as everyone has, unless of course your a youth trying to bypass the system. In which case, come clean before you end up permanently banned.

a clip is literally a clip that holds the rim of the carteridge.

a magazine holds the bullets in a box like container, it has a spring that guides bullets up as each spent case is ejected,

you, your grandfather, and your father have been wrong, your tradition is wrong, everything about you is wrong

I would stick with the AEG and run a DMR role. same results, and its still useful everywhere else. As for how hard it is to get Age Verified? You live in Whibty, drive to that surplus store in oshawa that you can find in the yellow pages and ask for Graham. Seriously. Just show your ID when you go there next to buy BBs and poof you will have started the Age Verification process.
