Called KWA USA awhile ago. They told me that they do not have any dealers in Canada.

DUH!
The batch of tinted clear frame KWA USP 2 years ago was taken from KWA Hong Kong

If you have Hong Kong access, and can find one in stock, a KSC USP won't do you wrong. Just make sure you get a Taiwan gun, not a Japan gun. The Japanese guns can have issues with propane/green gas, and come with plastic slides.

I have used a KWA KP-45 Tactical as my workhorse sidearm for a couple of years. It's accurate, shoots strong, and can take a beating. It's been dropped, stepped on, and thrown at a rattlesnake. A KSC USP should perform just as well.
I've just recently downgraded the Tactical to backup as I've started running with a KWA Mk-23. Total beast...

So I know that you started out with a few particular Brands that you were looking at, but I need to ask the question, what about WE (Socom)?
No one ever seems to mention this brand, but they seem to have nice look full metal models for a reasonable price. Are they really that bad, or is there another reason that they seem to be the black sheep of the pistol world?

Just curious

@SuperCriollo

Most players that I know decide on what type of pistol they like first (e.g. Glock, 1911, Sig, etc) and then decide on the best brand for that type of pistol.

I would also suggest that you not exclude Tokyo Marui GBB's. If you are going for pure looks then choose a non-TM pistol. Otherwise the TM's are proven and reliable shooting pistols, tinted or otherwise.

My favorite GBB is a TM Glock 17 Gen 3. No exposed hammer to snag on your gear, no safety lever to play around with, and of course it's a Glock!

I would suggest the Glock as it's easier to hang accessories off of. Also the USP is a bit more finicky.
But your USPC is UNIQUE! Its got a .40S&W kit from Zeke! lol

I am thinking about getting a SIG to mess with again, but not really wanting to spend too much, is a KJW 229 is a decent buy?

As far as the rest goes, TM 1911/Hi-Capa line and their Glocks are both great shooter and with lots of parts to use with. Both have some issue long term with propane but are easily fixable. I have 3+ of each and all are fun to shoot....

Sadly there's no third party support for that.
Actually, the problem part on the 5-7 isn't the hopup. The design of the gun is a bit odd in that the barrel is the guide rod for the main spring, and the way its held into the hopup chamber is a rather poor design considering the weak aluminum the outer barrel is made of. Firing on propane will cause the barrel to breat inside the hopup.

You need to replace that with an aftermarket barrel, preferably steel. There are several different after-market models.

I will agree though that the 5-7 is better suited to people with larger hands.

I run a pair of em .. they kick ass ... have for nearly 3 years.. and thousands of rounds (on propane) ... they are only now needing some help (stock recoil springs are pretzels, stock hop rubbers are getting worn, stock loading nozzles are getting worn)

but they still fire, they still kick ass, and every other pistol I pick up feels wimpy ... however they are not for every one

but I've seen the KJW M9's in the field and they seem to be great workhorses and good bang for the buck

Pimp out your TM and give me the $1500+ price tag.

I'll get er done with a WA 1911 for $1000.

I made a FMU beretta 8045 for $900 just last year. It still shoots better than my TM glock :\

I tried to get the controls for my WA 1911 and they add up faster than the kits TM 1911....A stainless beavertail is like $120, thumb safety is like $100....And thats when you can find it....

Mags are like $70 each for a compact 1911 mag....

My Hi-Capa not withstanding, TM 1911 FMUs with everything changed in US probably just tops $1000....

I have a KWA M9A1 PTP and I'm very satisfied with it. I've been using it since 3 years and no problems. Good reliability/accuraccy and nice blowback kick.
Also the only GBB I know that is good for south paws.
