1) Has it been molested?
2) $400? But seriously. Has anybody upgraded the shit out of this thing yet? Thinking aloud - I wonder how the buffer spring interacts with the main spring - does it speed up piston return time? Does it add spring force? Last edited by Stealth; November 26th, 2013 at 17:56.. |

i brought in a few of these because the Scouts didn't see very well, but turns out I had all but one sold before they even arrived. So I've got 1 left. If you're interested email/PM me. Price will be the same as the Scout model.

Stealth, just get a BOLT. Less proprietary, and REAR WIRED!

While I haven't tried the Bolt yet, here's what I liked about the KWA ERG series.
* Actual quick-change spring system - remove the buffer tube a la real steel and swap springs * Feeds every single round out of the mag * Improved balance, weight and feel over any other AR15 AEG on the market * Magpul-licensed body = authentic trademarks * Backwards compatible with standard AEG magazines * Stops firing upon last round (only if used with ERG magazines) * Relatively cheap ERG magazines compared to PTS PMags * Configurable 30/60round magazine capacities * Relatively strong recoil (given what it is) This system has some serious potential - ditch the recoil feature, up the ROF to 30+, add a computerized AB FET and the platform becomes VERY attractive. |

I'm curious to see if this is actually possible. I'm sure playing with battery, and motor you can get a fairly high RPM for this. I think the limiting factor will be the Recoil function of this, but eliminating the recoil will just defeat the purpose of this gun.... if that was the case, you might as well be starting off with a G&P Magpul M4.

A G&P Magpul M4 does not even begin to compare to the KWA RM4...
The recoil isn't the only thing the ERG has going for it (see post 36) |

I don't understand the point to ramping up a guns RoF to 30. Can someone explain to me what the actual benefit is? (No offense or sarcasm meant, I'm curious).
From my perspective, 15rps gets the job done just fine, you're still going to hit your target with weight of fire. Heck, semi-auto is, more often than not, fine. I just don't see the point in emptying your mag faster and increasing wear & tear. Am I missing something else? Last edited by Crimzzen; December 12th, 2013 at 17:34.. |

Faster rof = faster trigger response in semi. Fastest you can get practically is a 10:1 dsg on 11.1 battery. Can be stupid rof but 5.xx turns of motor is one shot.

Anyone know which magpul rail sections would fit on the hand guard?
These? Looking to mount a laser. http://store.magpul.com/product/MAG406/103 |

Yes, that will fit: There are several GTA retailers that carry full sets of different lengths of MOE rails for hand guards in black and DE for very cheap. I got a set of each for $10-15 each (can't remember exactly).
