I'm somewhat devided on that. Remember this is a base salary job. Unless you are talking to the owner, the employee does'nt have to be all knowing.

It's as if I was working in the sports departement at canadian tire and getting asked what is the best way to catch trout.

Dude, he just sells them. It's your job to do your research before you buy. Having acess to internet makes this a no brainer and in fact, you are a blundering idiot if you dont read reviews about what you intend to buy these days since we have phones with internet now.

I've seen my share of a-holes while working in the public. People expect expert renovation advise from an 18 year old working at canadian tire.

There is no 2 day course all expenses payed for them

Yeah, he's also not to speed about the laws. He doesn't want to deal with ASC people because ASC uses illegal (all black) guns. Not sure if he's clued in since. But he was trying to slag the ASC group about that when talking to the Action 500 management.

I'm pretty sure AirsoftQc is just Martin Vaillancourt by his lonesome.

Please Metal,

I think i know my stuff well enough not to need advice in an airsoft store

Me : your website lists m90 springs in stock, i'd like one please.

Him (the owner or manager, not an employee) : why do want such a wimpy spring ?

Me, willing to answer even though it's none of his business : for cqb

Him : i would not use that, you'll damage your aeg. And we dont stock them anyway. Come back when you really know what you want.

Then turned back to talk to his posse of fucktards teenagers hanging in the store, all smirking at me.
i did not even bothered to reply, contrary to my usual behaviour. Fucktards do not deserve me wasting time and energy.

We should get a large group together and go visit him during the holidays, pretend we all work in the same office and want to have an "office war" and ask him every possible annoying noob question ever, until he cries.

Two infos on my side:

1/ A while ago i read on their forum that if your fps is over 350fps, you can reduce it by using heavier bbs.... WIN (no comment...)

2/ With my team we heard once some good feedbacks about one of their game...but we heard that they were using lasers...so we gently ask why, because we all know that it's dangerous and forbidden on all fields (and not only in Canada)...
The answer: "i sell them, so why i will forbidden them? And no, i have read on internet that it's not dangerous". WIN (no comment...). We sent him real papers from various medical sources proving that it's dangerous, especially if you are exposed by using a magnifier... NO answer.

What the next step? Ho! you sell aluminium bbs so you cannot forbidden them on the field?

There's no stuff in stock except the few things that are in store...and there's a lot of of very good canadian shops WITH real stock. So just go where you can have your stock in time and sell by a responsable seller.

You misread me, I'm not judging you and your airsoft knowledge

I'm not talking about his attitude either, he's clearly got some issues to sort out, it has been pointed out already.

I'm saying that you should'nt expect expert advise from employes at base salary.

It's a great + when they have it but not all buisensses go that extra mile to educate their people to give better service.

Like I said, Airsoft Lanaudière gave really good service to my ''noob'' and both had the same chance.

This said, I dont think sinking down to their level will help anything. I'd just leave him do his thing and let people learn the truth for themsleves and talk about it, it's already started anyway, word will spread regardless of what we say or do here.

Like Napoleon said : Never interrupt your enemy when he is making a mistake.

willing to perform services in a dark alley that may or may not leave you satisfied for a title. GFE = 1, looks = 2, BBFS for an extra $50.

I went into Airsoft QC to order a metal body for my AEG well over a year ago. The prices were very competitive and the fact it was the closest walk in store I know of was a big plus.

I did not feel the most welcoming atmosphere though, it may be because I showed up 15 min before closing (long drive/ lots of traffic) or that I went there with my retarded friends who cannot read "do not touch" and started fondling the wall of guns.

When I returned to pickup my item I asked to see a spring svd on the wall. He handed it to me reluctantly and told me you can look but don't mess with it, I took the mag out and he gave me an upset look and took it back

other than it feeling like an art gallery instead of a store I have nothing negative to say, and I would do business with them again if need be

Customer Service is the base of all business.

Everybody is in sales. Even the office clerk - picking up the phone welcoming a possible client with a warm and helpfull attitude.

or - in their case...... with a bad attitude. I bet 90 % of the negative threads would not be even current if they had a customer oriented and helpfull attitude. And would not deal and interact with the basis of his existence - his customers - like they currently do.

Three of my guys had bad experiences - two got even kicked out because the were witnessing something they did in their righteous feel for the sport not agree with and told him.....

one of them tried to buy a 1911- he was not even allowed to take it in the hand..

So he bought in Quebec City at a shop with great stock and well defined and polite customer service.

4 guys out of 4 guys from our group who went there had bad experiences.

And you know them all - except for Aegiis that old Pitbull are them guys all sweethearts. Besides they would not understand my austrian mumbling anyways...

I refuse therefor to even set foot in it - because of the disappointment and anger they caused to my boys.

Sorry lads but AirsoftQC = fail.

too bad, cause Montreal would need a good store and not again another shop with questionable practices...and bad attitude on top of it.

sadness strikes the Boss`es heart...

This problem isn't new; back in 2005 he was getting bad feedbacks from the community as well, and by the looks of it things never changed.

Fortunately, he's got kiddies / non-ASC members to sell to; otherwise he would have been out of buisness for a while now.
