A M120+ springs should be pulled with 9.6 Sub C packs and greater. If you are using Sub C cells you should be using a MOSFET in my opinion. You can't replace the trigger plates / prongs in your switch. You will have to replace the entire switch, as those plates are not sold on their own.

I strongly suggest you get a basic MOSFET for your gun, and completely replace the wiring in your gun with some high quality (not made for airsoft) components that you can get from DonP. The wire that he sells is AAA+ stuff. It's used in Ballistic missiles, and the military aviation industry, he has selected the best Gauge wire to use in the gun and that wire has literally the best jacket available.

Take your brand new switch and replace ALL of the wiring with what Don provides. You will be many times happier. If you are not going to run a trigger master with built in lipo features than at the very least get a quality low voltage alarm from a RC store coupled with a mosfet

In terms of the beeping LiPO alarm this was what I was told to expect ...

The low voltage detector circuit can beep every now & then when you are shooting. I presume this is due to utilization dips in the overall battery voltage levels caused by power comsumption. Once the low voltage circuit is constantly beeping that is the point that the battery needs to be swapped out.

Hope this helps ... please be aware this is what I was told by a battery vendor. Believe what you want, just be careful.

Who Told you that?



LiPo has a different power curve from NiMH batteries. They will essentially provide a near constant voltage and when they are "dry" the will suddenly drop off very quickly.

A motor cage isn't the defining factor of a v3 gearbox, otherwise you'd be saying the M14 or P90 is "sort of" a v3 as well. It's the internal structure of the box itself that defines the gearbox version.

agreed. G36 v3 Mechbox has a thing sticking up out the top. Does that make it not a full V3? lol

anyways, my motor was refusing to pull an m120 spring with 2 different 8.4v nimh batts. It just doesnt have the power to complete the stroke. I'm thinking it might be my trigger contacts again...Picking up new set tomorow so we'll see.

Btw illusion, if you wouldnt mind, what spring with a half port cylinder and standard mp5k PDW length barrel (4.5 inches roughly) will give me 350fps with .2's? I figured M120 was what I was looking for...

With a standard length MP5K/PDW setup? I'd say at LEAST an M130, and at that power, you would absolutely have to have torque up gears installed...
