if I wanted to wear those masks I'd go play paintball. I have no problem waiting until summer and playing airsoft at actual airsoft fields instead of paintball fields. i also don't feel like spending 75$+ just so I can play on a paintball field.

If any players from Ottawa or near by are interested in comming the game is 99% sure going to be a full day game... at a 15 dollar rate with above 10 people it would be worth the drive

I've notice with most paintball masks (with a plastic lower) it is impossible to use the sights on your gun.

Though after going through a few masks, I've found paintball masks with a flexible-lower don't really cause as much of an issue (especially low profile masks). I'm able to get a nice cheekweld on my PRS using my JT Proflex, although if I open my mouth too much -- my chin / bottom row of teeth are exposed (which may be the case if you're shouting to someone across the room/field).

Potential for a new market for custom stocks with a section cut out to accommodate paintball masks?

It is possible.. i have used a sniper rifle with my mask and its worth about 60 bucks. If you are complaining about the mask without ever using one, try out something with thermal lenses (double pained) and go.

If you go into this with a negative attitude then its going to end bad, i would hate to see this idea go under because people dont want to wear masks

You guys aren't that much further from Valleyfield than the Ottawa guys, you should check out some of the events here (we have a mall).

A mall you say? (google maps valleyfield) 234.5 km. Not too bad for longer games.

B&B have been very accomodating so far, but I don't know. I understand their insurance restrictions and such, but I the velocity, condom, etc is a bit much IMO. Glad to know we now have an alternative without this added crap.

As for them "getting into airsoft", I'm rather curious. However, like most shops that know nothing about airsoft that get into it, you can usually except sub-par quality items at inflated prices. And there's a good chance we'll also end up having to buy our BBs from them, more than likely also sub-par and overpriced. Perhaps I'm just being a little too pessimistic. Hopefully they can get it together and offer people a good airsoft experience. We need more places to play.

I totally agree with you Joe. He is going to let me know and I am going to make my decision form there.

ALSO, I am going to talk to this guy at ground zero a bit more but he has an area on on the land which we could use.....it would be an "airsoft side" to the field so we could have it all year round. The problem is that it would have to be built up most likely by us
