Hello

The end of the saga. The rifle is finished & works great !

The pictures (only missing the early type receiver extension lock ring that is coming soon) :

And the final, go Canada, go !

Components of the custom

Real steel parts :
Elcan C79 & green cover (thanks to a member in ASC)
BUIS
Charging handle & latch
Furnitures (grip, stock & handguards)
Handguards cap (round)
Butt pad
Receiver extension, buffer stop & sling plate
Tri-Ad
Sling
Cleaning kit (complete)
Gas tube
Sling

ViperTech parts:
Receiver W/internals
Front sight
Buffer & spring

Aftermarket parts:
Ambicatch (G&P)
Ambidextreous fire selector (G&P)
Outer barrel (Dragon Red steel barrel + Element customized)

This will probably be my last C8A3 custom as i'm 100% satisfied with the look and feel of the gun.

Hope you like it !

Best regards from Finland

Looks great and very authentic, but you should do something about that pressure switch wire for the PAQ4. Try wrapping it around the handguards once, or get some tape to secure it.

Hi

Thanks for the compliment, coming from a serving CF member, it means a lot !

I normally tape the pressure switch to the tactical grip but dit not have it installed at the time...

Not quite identical, the A2 base has steel thumbscrews, but no big deal since most people can't tell without close examination.

Very nice work!

Fantastic Project! I'm loving the overall look of the C8A3! Very well done!
congrats!
This one really made my day. Too bad the RS Diemaco parts are hard to get.
