In all the enviroments that I have seen Multicam used it has done quite well. However its biggest selling point: the logistics factor isin;t really when a full set is about as much as a full set of woodland AND desert in "traditional" patterns. Also I'm tired of seeing everyone change camo every year when something "cooler" comes out. Its only airsoft, wear what you want be it spending a shitload on multicam or some surplus CF ODs. My DPM serves me well.

Hey guys, really off topic. I live in California, but a former CA resident...

Anyways MultiCam works really well in the environment on our playing field, and I'm desperate to get some.

Here in the US we've got lots of Options:

www.sdktac.com
www.usmilitarysurplus.com (they have RAID cuts)

But I was browsing Seals Action Gear and I noticed their 4.1 pants and field shitrt. Since I'm coming back up to Ottawa for Christmas I think I might ship a few to my parents house, but I don't have any idea on the quality of Seals Action Gear BDU making... So here I am, asking you for help. Are the 4.0 and 4.1 Tactical Field Pants and Shirts from Sealsactiongear.com of good quality?

To add to this thread:
Most of my teammates are jumping on the MC bandwagon (aka AirsoftPat). One pre-ordered the Actual Crye manufactured set, another got the set from SDKTAC, and another got the RAID set. So far only the SDKTAC set has arrived, here are some pics:

Ooh yeah, the SDK TAC stuff comes with kneepad pouches, a nice feature.

.
Seals Action gear kit is of excellent quality, I have a set of their 4.1 pants ( in black) and they are very good, tough fabric, great attention to detail and their adjustable waistband is everything they say it is.

Good service as well!!

I've used MultiCam for one summer now and I have to agree with Morbius. It works well in some situations and not so well in others.

I found it may make an ideal cam pattern for mid/late spring and fall when there is a lot of dead vegetation and therefore more brown hues, but not summer with its vivid greens. It falls short in heavy woods or at dusk as the white parts of the cam pattern seem to almost glow.

I'm afraid, although I spent the money and got the good stuff (Crye Precision), I prefer my good 'ol Cadpat for 85% of the games around here.

Now if you talk functionality, fit and finish... the Crye Precision product line is absolutely fantastic and I have nothing bad to say.

That being said... if you play a lot of games in sandy/rocky/grassy areas I would imagine MultiCam would make you virtually invisible.

But due to the fact that piles of airsofter's out there can't seem to keep quiet during game play... I don't think it matters what cam pattern you wear!

Erm... no
I posted it show those who posted pics of "multi"cam in dead grass/desert envoiroments and compared them to green cammoes in that enviroment that multicam isnt as good in green forest compared to say CADPAT.

I'm not going to "dis" anyone over their choice of cammo. Judging form pics, the Mission field has lots of tall dead grass, multicam would work great there, but not at panther with all that green stuff there (well, maybe 'cept the dunes).
Sorry if you took it as me dissing you. ops:

Did you ask the person who took these pictures if you could post them here?
Are you hosting the images or are you stealing his bandwidth?
-----------
Multicam works better in different environments.
just like any other camo.
I do find it on the light side for any lush green environments.

No one seems to ask permission from the guys who host all those "owned" pictures.

Quit bickering about this crap guys... I think it's a well known point that all camo patterns only work in certain environments. There's no one camo suits all and that's not the point of Multicam. Just agree that like all other camo out there it works well in some areas and sucks in others.

I don't understand how there can be a 3 page thread about this moot point...

I think it would - look at all the shades of grey in that locale - also the sage greens. Exactly the colours of ARPAT (ACU is the name of the uniform, like BDU, not the camo).

Yeah - 'cause they're too busy arguing about who has the cooler camo.
