Looking good Kaiu!
Can't wait to order my Type 89 Who knew Type 89 pouches also hold AK-47/74 30 round mags just fine. No need to switch out gear when rocking the Kalashnikov thanks Japan! Last edited by Kingsix; July 11th, 2013 at 00:02.. |

Only took 2 months to clear customs.... although they did drag my rifle from hell to back... just what type of people do they hire to chrony these things anyways. Should have ordered an AK, at least then it'll come pre worn for free. Finally got my Type 89 and I love it! |

Type 2 Armour vest Combat shirt M1 helmet pretending to be a Type 66 helmet. Need to get 100 mile per hour tape to secure the ACM helmet light (Actual JSDF reservist do this) 3 more Alice mag pouches so I can convert them to Malice clips and mod them to fit in Alice. (Plenty of JGSDF troops wearing alice pouches on the Molle vest) (I think Actual JGSDF use the Alice to Molle converter, but the modded Malice clips my teammate uses seems more secure) Hmmm if I get the Folding shovel I could be ready for the next earthquake. No NOD helmet NOD helmet
Flak vest Type 2. Took the Alice pouches off my webbing to see how it would look. I owned 2 Alice magazine pouches, but I bought 3 off my teammate. I was fretting about what to do with the odd one out, when the thought hit me, I could buy a Flak vest and get 3 more pouches. Playing around with my new Helmet. JGSDF reserve force soldier. Disaster relief, earthquake, tsunami, flooding, snowstorm, godzilla attacks you name it we clean it up! If I where to nitpick. Reserve soldiers usually get issued Type 64 rifles.... Only Top makes them and it was a limited run item + Canadian customs. Means this reservist gets a Type 89 abit with the fancy left hand selector, RIS and IR laser removed LMAFO. A genuine Type 66 helmet was more then I was willing to pay, and the shop that sold it doesn't ship overseas. Using a forwarding service would make it one damn expensive helmet. I settled for a reproduction M1 helmet to stand in for the Type 66. I use a geniune M88 to stand in for the Type 88 helmet anyways, no harm done here. The helmet was more WW2/Korean style then I anticipated, so new chinstraps need to be ordered. For the disaster relief soldier impression that was done on a whim I might add. I need to get a energizer hardcase lamp and not a Chinese headlamp. (Although that lamp would be correct for a ROK army impression . The headlamp needs to be taped on the helmet using OD 100 mile per hour tape... I also couldn't find my shop goggles which is often used in place of real eye protection. Heh not going to say anything about the Chicom PLA shovel..... I need to get a USGI style angle light to clip to the webbing harness. [T][/T] |

S and Graf JDF Combat Shirt with issued JDF trousers, boonie and JDF camo 1961 Split front copy from S and Graf.
Some really awesome JDF kits in here and gear. It is really not seen too much outside of Japan. Hell to be honest I didn't see all that much of it at Airsoft games while I was living there. Last edited by jtf60; August 17th, 2014 at 02:31.. |

Medium Alice pack? Nice.
Rock on the JGSDF pattern, I'm not a fan of the gear so far but love the uniform. |

We're rocking our new Japanese Desert camo expect for one guy wearing the intern Tropentarn. We have one member testing the JSDF pattern JPC plate carrier.
Tan on green reminds me of the First gulf war :P |
