Only thing was I had a hard time getting the barrel nut tight enough to hold the barrel and hold the bolt up plate firm. Couple buffer tube shims and I was set. She's rock solid now. Glad I bought the upper receiver vice block tho, can't imagine fighting it on there without it.

I always did. More or less. My last PTW for personal use had ARMS SIR, #40, EoTech, etc.

The new one (still waiting for 3 more little parts to arrive) is the most sugared up yet.

The Madbull rails are pretty nice. I've been impressed with most of them but the odd one does need slight modding where the rail makes contact with the lower receiver. Just a quick filing and a dust of paint and it's good to go. I haven't had issues with the barrel nuts not fitting the PTW's. Not yet anyway.

Anyone have experience with this outer barrel? Seems rather cheap compared to the steel systema one.
DYTAC 12.5inch Mid-Length Outer Barrel
Wondering if its solely for the Magpul grip or if the Madbull RIS II would work with it.

Thanks for that. I can't take much credit for the 416 upper, though. It belonged to Karma originally.

Ok well, I guess I won't until you get an SD front set on there. Until then you are safe. I can't say what will happen after.
