MP5 is also my favorite. Finally got it. It's still waiting for MadBull silencer and retractable stock.

Mmmmmh... if it's like the G36 you may have an issue : they made it nearly exactly 1:1 so AEGs are not fitting that well.
If they followed the same path a RS might be needed.

I do agree on this....At the moment I only have Larue style rail now on my AR build, and both uppers I have XTM and AFG covering the 3 sides and its basically a round profile, and its pretty comfortable, especially coming from AK with RIS as the system for those seems to be much wider....

I am also surprise now how light my longer AR upper feels vs the AK....

Steel wool! WE uses a shitty paint that can easily be lifted on their AR's. But there is still a layer beneath where the paint has actually cured. You can use superfine steel wool to lift off the crappy stuff and get that faded look.

With the luger though you'll need to strip the paint off of the gun and use Birchwood Casey Aluminum Blackener to darken the metal. I'd do a mixture of that, 'wearing' with steel wool, and polishing to get that aged look.

Mother of god... I'm half tempted to go and do that to a cheap gun for a wall hanger...

My room mate it picking up one shortly...it'll be torture for me.

Oh well. Whilst he's making all sorts of cool gun noises and making the rest of RT-Monkeywrench look/sound badass, I'll be slaying people with my Car-15 ptw
