The chemlight/rubberband/ear plugs thing on the stock is kindof a cliché and isn't seen much (especially not all of these at the same time), but it looks good anyway.

I just ordered a TW5 as my first entry into the ptw world. Has anyone compared range of a TW5 and M4 using the same Cylinders, (Both golds etc)? Just curious how it would compare for range in an outdoor game etc.... thanks,

you don't need the gold cylinder with your PTW5 the range on the TW5 is slightly better than the M4 because the airseal in your TW5 is better than the M4 I only use the black cylinder on both my CQBR and my TW5 for indoor and outdoor for comparison and blue Cylinder for my M16 full length. I use .25 & .28 BB bastard they feed flawlessly through my mags, Oh just in case you broke your very flimsy boltstop switch don't worry about it the gun will still run.

This is the very latest modulation to the TW5, along with the Sure Fire set up I have a RIS and a MP5 specific QD silencer from madbull that can be swapped in seconds. As for optics I have a real Aimpoint T1 enroute as for now the King Arms aimpoint and docter sight is doing their job well.

How ridiculous of a process is modding an AEG slither stock to fit the TW5?? Or even a RS one? Im not a mp5 full stock fan...

The airsoft one will probably not fit...the RS cap will probably need some modding to fit. Material needs to be removed from around the inside of the cap to fit the body. A fair bit in some parts...and not as much on others. The external look/size isn't changed.

I did a MP5K-type end cap (RS)...and had to grind on the inside of the cap and fiddle with the wiring a bit since the cap had a block there to secure the swivel. Not sure about the slither stock and what's inside the cap vs how much it may protrude into the gun. There's not a whole lot of room at the back end with the end block and the channel where the wiring can run up.

Obviously you need to mod the "gas tube" to fit a decent battery. IIRC the battery much supply min 30A for each and every shot. It's a tight fit and the "weld" between the body and the charging tube may block a long battery from going forward enough. In modding it, you'll be disabling the spring of cocking handle...and I fabricated a new cocking body/bolt, fit to lenght. I chopped it so that the battery we were using kept the cocking handle forward...since there wasn't any spring in there anymore. Not hard...just a lot of careful measuring and work.

Also mounted an MP5 RIS and a Nitro rail...it was quite the ass kicker of a gun. Silver cylinder was brutal...ouch.

It was good bit of work.
