The granite brick makes for a hefty rado - and some battery upgrade potensiale

The enclosed 7,2v 1100mah battery behind the cheatstone:

Snatched from this Swedish AS forum article, also showing a 2200mah 6-cell Nimh battery upgrade I'll consider too:

Lol, if that's what you want (.5W instead of 5W) get the Spartan dummy and do this, will cost you 250$ less.

Oops forgot to include Puxing px777/px888 in that post.

I have a px777 and like it very much.

It just seems there are a lot of issues with this radio for the amount of money it costs.

The radio is set to operate on the FRS/GMRS channels and set to receive only on a couple of others. However It does not work due to a missing ribbon cable connecting the main board to the LCD front panel and cannot be programmed for reasons that I cannot explain. Essentially it is a parts/repair and spare battery radio. Asking price is $100USD plus shipping, so PM me if you are interested.
No contest. The XTS3000 is a top notch radio and the price tag to go with it.

that audio is an edited version of actual Marines. You can hear the full version at the end rolling credits of Generation Kill.

Hi all again, I have my unit prc 148, writing to ask if it is somehow possible to change the final sound communication and put whatever I want. Is choice number 14 (BR) of the prc menu 148.
Thank you again for your help and excuse my English.

Finally

Finally got it to take a config after hours of tinkering!

Problem now is I have used the PMR freqs for Europe (as based in UK), can receive but not transmit. Also all of the MHR freqs just get static but again can receive but not transmit.

What am I doing wrong?
