Marines are people too. I think you can wear your colar in the most confortable way for you and you would not be disgressing from an impression general standard.

Improving the look based on previous suggestions, but had to use what I had on hand... More goodies coming in the mail soon, though (mostly some new pouches, and a right angle panel).

Aside from pouches from eHobby, I'm getting a pair of Danner USMC RAT boots, a Strider SA-L GG to put on the SERPA holster (and then I'll get rid of the giant Kabar), and some proper IR patches (flags, blood type, and allergy). I also inserted foam toolbox liner into the knees; worked well in the woods, and was quite comfy without pads strapped to me. My pants didn't bunch up, either!

Notes: This will mostly be worn with an LBT1562A medical pack. When I'll have the pack, the tourniquet shown here on the CIRAS pad would be on the pack's strap. Back isn't shown as it's empty (other than FSBEII hydration pouch and TCI MAST) for comfortable pack wear. Sides are kept slick.

All nylon (except LBT2626A) is FSBEII. CIRAS is early gen (green tag, year unknown), pouches are late 2007/early 2008

Oh my, oh my. I'm liking how that rig looks... Now I really want to get me a CIRAS. Dammit all.

MSOB wear PCU? So what, AOR1 pants/PCU? Or full PCU? I haven't noticed more than one or two pics of anything supporting this, and I couldn't confirm if they were impressions or not.

They do, wheter it's only top or if it's both pieces depends on the situation. There's indeed not many pics, but more than enough to consider it a fact.

Add to this the fact that MARSOC is apart of SOCOM, well... they get some of SOCOM's cool guy stuff such as that! (while Force Recon isn't, and the closest to PCU they have is the APECS).

AOR1 is for JSOC (well, DEA FAST too)... MSOBs use mainly MARPAT (both desert and woodland variants), Woodland (good ol' classic M81) and also Multicam. So you could see a PCU top with any of these.

Blahblahblah I can't hear you over the sound of my edit
-oh wait, you quoted my mistake. Dammit.

Well that surprises me, always thought it was SEALs and DEVGRU only... I guess I stand corrected then.

A little sumpin'-sumpin' mounted on my 1911 SERPA...

I'm sure it's not issue, but I'm guessing there must be one or two guys out there carrying something like it.

so ive gone though here and MP.net and i was wondering. when one does a war belt set up, can i use a duty belt and then the dump pouch, leg panel and SL6004 etc with the suspenders or is it more common place to use a MOLLE belt?

Last edited by attack-beaver; May 18th, 2011 at 19:58.. Reason: im a fucking moron that cant spell check, it seems.

You can use the FSBEII Warbelt, or a duty belt (with or without duty belt pads).
