I think the only issue I have with kraken's Is that the damn stock is to low if I put a scope on it :/

(I'll probably just make a new stock for myself to cover this issue)

there are two types of krakens mailnly sold, the cabelas 300 FPS is great for indoor games, and the pre upgraded ones shoot 370 FPS, they are only different in the springs, and the affect they have on FPS and rate of fire.
I bought a 300 FPS kraken from cabelas for $119 for indoor games, and 90 dollars on mags 90 dollar metal body 90 dollar wood kit, but the gun is epic win!

is the front end also clear? the piece that attach to the foregrip??

because on 370fps kraken the only clear part is the lower receiver right?

Are you sure your Kraken from cabelas fires at 300 fps? Did you chrono it?

There a couple versions of Krakens, you never know which one you will get. The older version has a white hopup and fires under 350 FPS according to the guys at Xtreme Tactics. Mine is the older version and I put an M90 spring in it before it ever saw a chrono.

Manufacturers of clone guns are known to straight out lie about the FPS of the guns.

If you want to know the fps, you could do the "poor man's chrono", or you could open the kraken and look at the hop up. If the hop up is white, it mean it is the first generation kraken shooting at 280-330 fps, and if the hop up is black, you have a second generation kraken shotting at 370-405 fps. All fps with .2 bb

Actually just because you have a white hopup doesn't mean lower FPS. The first Kraken I bought was clear and had the white hopup yet chrono'd in at 400fps with metaltech .2's.
