Width is largely irrelevant. It will fit any manufactured cell that is less that 1"
The OD of a milspec buffer is 1.14", and the commercial is 1.17". ID is always the same for every buffer, it has to be that way.

I modded one of Kev's old 15c batteries and it measures 21mm x 18mm x 106mm
[IMG][/IMG] The flap of tape is to pull the battery back out of the tube. The balance plug fits into a recess in the back or the tube. [IMG][/IMG] I still am going to shorten the leads coming from the board another 10mm and that will straighten and keep the wires tight to the battery.

When I did one I shaved some of the end of the buffer tube out for the deans to sit in. It gave it more room and didn't ruin any of the structural integrity. It's snug but not a bad way to go.
Looks good Greg.

nothing fancy but you it sure shot well and look good. Thanks Illusion for the upper. Just in case somebody wonder about the scope, it's Millet DMS-1 Illumination with real steel Larue 1.93 AR mount. My leupold Mark 4 3x9.5x30 LR/T is on it way, not sure if it's stay on that upper or my remington.

The upper assembly looks fantastic on that build! Glad to see she's found a good home to take care of her.

The third one! ... assuming its limitations and functionality works for you. I'm just saying it looks the most bad ass!
