Wish it was as simple as the KSC mag spring.

Other than that my build is complete.
3 days?!?!?! thats CRAZY!! Okay, let me try to explain. The magazine catch spring fits in the slit inside the frame. The slit is anterior to the magwell. If you look at the spring, one end is longer than the other. The longer side places tension on the magazine catch, while the shorter end sits inside the slit. Insert the magazine catch spring inside the slit, so that the horizontal section rests at the bottom of the slit, and the longer section of the spring applies tension on the magazine catch itself. The allows the magazine catch to bounce back up once it is depressed.

My suggestion is this: The best way to figure out which parts goes where, is to understand how things work. Everything will become intuitive and make much more sense.

A set of small needle nose pliers or a hemostat is the perfect thing for the mag catch spring.

That spring isn't that strong...

Three days is a bit long...
What are you having trouble with when you install it? You haven't actually given us why it's so difficult for you to install. lol.

But basically, what Turok_T said. There will be a ridge on the frame for that spring to sit on/in. Make sure that the longer side of the spring is the one towards the magazine catch that you press on. Not the other way. Then just simply use your index finger to crimp the longer side of the spring and hook it unto the magazine catch. There will be a cut out on the catch for the longer side of the spring to latch onto...

I'm not sure if this has been covered yet but after installing a guarder lower frame I found my 18c light striking badly (using duster, no slide movement just a brief 'puh'). I removed the frame and found that the Guarder magwell seems to be a bit longer than the TM. I shimmed just below the valve striker with a few strips of gun tape and it functions fine. Has anyone else had a similar issue or did I just get a lemon? For reference I already have a 150% hammer spring installed.

It's not the strength of the spring so much as that if your fingers are too big you'll be bottoming out before the spring gets to where it needs to be.

The hemostat is nice because because you lock it on the spring, thread the needle and then unclamp.

Either something else is broken or you aren't putting it in far enough.

The spring falls out or the mag catch falls out.

I'm making an order from WGC, and wanted to find out if this inner barrel any good before buying it. I tried googling and searching but turned up dry, has anyone used Shooters association inners? How does it compare to PDI or first factory?

This is a common problem I've seen with Marui Glocks. Easiest fix, is to put in a stronger hammer spring.

Keep in mind, these were never designed to use with the higher pressured gasses that we use. Putting in a stronger hammer spring alleviates the problem of striking the valve hard enough. This will also alleviate poor gas consumption issues (contrary to popular belief.) The stronger strike releases a faster and crisper release of gas, resulting in a full and quick expulsion of gas, rather than a delayed, dragged out and anemic response which uses more gas.
