im somewhat interested in this bit at the same time not, i mean we have good gbbr's that dont need a remote line (external air kinda kills it for me) rap4 tryed this in the past as far as i recall it didnt go too well. The one thing rap4 kinda did well was those oblong bb's witj the fins on them, however they dropped the ball on that too by makin them soo damn light. If they wouldda made em in a .30-.36 i think they would have been prommising, but they didnt and almost right away they had to relese an inner with hop up so we could use real bb's. Perhaps in the future tippman will refine their airsoft products but i think (as was stated) this is just a quick attempt to suplement their funds due to the decline in PB.

I don't think they addressed the issue players running low cap capacity with CO2 cartridges in the magazines. No shut off for reloads?

Something missing from the video. What is the input pressure for the HPA tank? They have 750ps, 550psi, and 450psi. The 750psi will have the highest recoil but loses regulation below 750psi.

tbh i dont think that was an issue, rather than a design/business decision (although a crappy one imo).

Really disappointed in the fact they didn't fix the mag design to not vent. Knowing someone with connection to tipman, he was informed that it was being changed as that was why they were postponed from their original late August release date.

well maybe they are still doing that (hopefully), because they still haven't really released the product. From the video, it seems that the gun they were reviewing had scratched paint, possibly a beta gun?

I doubt they will correct the magazine issue. They stuffed a lousy Tippmann 98 blow back system into it. Do you think they will redesign it to use the better Phenom bolt system .

I also doubt they will incorporate an internal regulator so you will get velocity consistency from either a 450psi, 550psi or 750psi HPA tank. An airbleed screw is lame and getto.

Phenom is fine, as long as it's the X7...

yeah phenom's core would've been better. Maybe they'll do that for a higher end model in the future. But right now, the only thing is the mag issue that's bothering me.

Shouldn't this be in the retailer section?

I think the gun wasn't intended to be ran with CO2. The CO2 option was probably just added so that people who don't have a CO2 line set up yet can test the gun in their back yard until their external source get set up.

The internals are based on tippmann's inline blowback internals for several reasons; 1) can easily run on either CO2 or HPA, 2) can provide a much better recoil than the smoother flexvalve engine 3) is damn near indestructable 4) super easy to work on if needed.

Anyone got theirs? Do a review? Does the upper have real steel threads?

From what I seen/read it has a replica barrel nut that has the dimension of "teeth" right, but the face is flat, so some rails, in particular the Troy battle rails, do not fit. The magpul MOE handguard (not PTS) does fit.

I received the first shipment today. we are shipping the pre orders tomorrow.
I picked mine personal one by finding the lowest serial number #130

-I am very impressed so far.
--Feels solid, not to heavy but a good weight.
-stock solid , (release lever is medium.)
-the for grip is nylon but tight and nicely done
-front and rear flip up sights Plastic but good quality
-Body Metal, good thickness and tight fitting everywhere.
- Mag (comes with one) plastic heavy solid and ready to go.
-trigger nice feel
-delta ring functions
-Spare parts and extra rail stuff tons
-cocking handle heavy duty and functions like the real deal.
-mag fits tight and goes in smooth
-recoil Sweet I'd say more then my .22 long
-not actuate to the sights yet but shoots a dime size group at 40 feet.
-Worked perfectly right out of the box, I read 1 page of instructions first
- 12 gram extremely easy to put in mag
12 gram punctured very easily
shot 10 BPS in full auto out of the box no set up (adjustable)
shot 380- with .20 out of the box

feels as solid as a Tippmann paintball gun . Looks like a real AR, It shoots like a gun,, not a sewing machine..

I have sold 10's of airsoft guns, and maybe 1000's of paintball guns. This is freaking amazing ... so far.

Everything we were hoping for... I can't wait to game this gun.. Yes,,, I'm gaming an airsoft gun. I think this gun could sell for $800 plus easy..

negatives
-Sock was stuck closed out of the box.
-the mag is hard to release with pressure in it. VERY HARD
-12 gram vent after release of mag.

PM's welcome
