Ok, after reading all this, I should be able to get 400ish fps on .20's if I throw in my new hop up and use propane? I'm wanting to use my 10/22 at Claybank, if not I'll have to use something else....

Well 3 out of 4 of my mags are useless now. They popped/leaked, which I usually fix just by opening them up, oiling, and screwing them back together nice and tight.
However the threads in the screw hole are now stripped and they won't seal. |

That is really shitty Styrak, hmm I'm not sure how you would get them out?
And tonight, I have figured out that a M4 Npas system works perfect in the 10/22, it has the same flow valve and such!

Have you tried retapping the whole? i had the same problem and retapped and now im fine, however id recommend resealing them so you dont have to worry about them popping anymore. thats what i have been doing to all of mine.

Just a matter of buying the part and seeing if it fits, iv toyed with the idea of putting one in mine, but i haven't really felt a need for it

Yeah its the exact setup as the M4 so I just put it in. With things like this, it's just trial and error sometimes....

Added some new toys to mine.
Swapped out the Magpul sights in favour of the Arms sights, i liked the look better and they were smaller so they would night get in the way of the laser. Put on a PAQ4C for when im using my PVS14 and added a Surefire Scout for when i need light. Finally i put on a Tromix Shark Muzzle Brake just because i like the look of it. Stock bolt broke so i throw in the RAtech steel bolt, i like the look of it better then the stock one too. |

What are you suggesting exactly? Retapping the hole and getting a screw with bigger threads? The screws for these mags are pretty specific I would think...

yup that exactly what im saying, then just get a machine screw that is the correct length, finding one that long wont be hard. I had to do it to one of my mags

Where would I get a tapper/rethreader or whatever? Same place as the screw, Home Depot or something?

What you need is a Tap and Die set, just make sure the set you get has the smaller sizes, ideally you want one with machine screw threads. Best bet is to find the right length of screw first, then fine a tap to match the threads
