remove the screw then the two pieces held in by the screw.
Turn the selector switch all the way up until it's facing the top of the slide and push it out gently.

*put your hand over top while you're popping out the selector switch, there's a tiny spring and detent pin you don't want to lose.

After that the BBU should fall right out.

filing down the outer barrel so the hop-up unit will slide in

You shouldn't have to file a PGC barrel to get a TM hop chamber to fit. You have to kinda massage it in there. Push it to the side and tap it in. Don't file anything you might ruin the way the inner and outer barrels interact.

here's a youtube video of lazouche removing and installing a metal 1911 outer barrel, the barrel assemblies are different but the ideas are the same:

I already filed it

I hope it works or I'll have to plead to pgc for a new one...

this whole project is making me frustrated and sad.

It fits. It's just hard to get the hop up unit inside the chamber. The PGC outer Barrel is actually one of the best accommodating outer barrel out there for Glocks.

What is the "line marked" you are referring to?

Here's a video of the slide assembly take down on the G17. Fast Forward to the end. You kinda have to force the hop up unit in there but gently. If you just keep banging at it, you'll damage the inner barrel, the bucking and hop up unit itselt. But once it's in, the hop up unit should be able to move about whilst inside the chamber of the outer barrel.

There is a notch on the hop up unit near the hop up chamber (where the BB enters) that will prevent you from inserting the unit into the outer barrel.. You need to lift that above the edge and then slide the hop up into place.

I got it in already lol I thought it was supposed to go further

But I cant figure out how to get this weird part back in its like a u shaped clip/spring with a v shaped notch sticking out on one side, I think maybe it has something to do with the slide release? its not shown on the parts diagram...

Best way to upgrade/fix your TM glock is just buy the BEAUTIFUL/solid/well built/custom fitted/made with love ones that e is selling E is better at fixing/modding TM glocks than he is at breathing!
