I dunno who is maintaining this thread but I would recommend a separate area in the forum for a provincial listing of gun docs and then they can create their own threads to show their work and have others comment on their experiences. Some of these listings are probably no longer relevant and the information is so spread out that it's not easy to find.

I gotta go on record here and vouch for Bakasaur.
Sure, he's new, but everyone was once.
I gave him two of my guns to fix, and he improved them drastically, reducing rattle, cleaning up the trigger pull and travel, polishing sear engagement, and many other little things I couldn't figure out.
When I couldn't afford to pay for a couple of replacement parts needed to fix one, he refused to accept payment for the work he'd already done, because he was effectively returning a non-functioning gun to me.
This wasn't his fault; it was mine.
I'm very happy with the work he did and will gladly let him continue to work on my guns when he's back in the area.
