I've played a game in Day-glow orange as part of a down pilot scenario.

Well, I don't own BDU's but I can come dressed like this:

Would anyone have a problem with that?

BTW: I'd like to sign up for that feds-vs.-rednecks game. I'm in Ottawa.

TBH I would allow it however I kind of get a "paintballish" kind of feeling about it. However I don't know what makes it seem "paintballish" since it's basically like a ghillie suit however it's like a cartoonish version of a ghillie (think the difference between TFC and TF2 both almost the same thing at heart however ones more "cartoonish").

Simple OD BDU's are like $40-60 for a set and should do it however that setup should be good enough for the first few games.

I'd hit that................ lol, easy to spot, I wouldn't have an issue there.
EDIT: RCR vs Rednecks game near Ottawa, sign up there: http://www.airsoftcanada.com/showthread.php?t=90392 not here!

I've seen OD bdu's for cheaper before too, It's not near as big an investment as people think and they last forever.

It's actually a CADPAT mesh poncho with a light-weight camo netting clipped on in small segments. I overheat in a hurry, hence the material.

In any case, how would a black set of BDU's go over? I was going to get a set for other things anyway.

Nobody would mind, It'd just be stupid, Theres no black in nature. Even at night you'd look like a giant void in the forest. Plus you'd over heat in the day.

See my edit for you above.

Regarding black BDUs, some guys do wear them and stand out like a sore thumb, but they have fun anyways. Wear what you like to games around Ottawa, but make sure what you plan to wear fits in with the uniform outline as per the game instructions. If it's a hardcore milsim type, you won't be able to wear black, civies might get you a spot on the team though if it's an insurgent dress code. Every game outline has a dress code, you decide what team you want to be on based upon what you feel like wearing.

unless you are going to a game that requires specific attire, wear whatever the hell you want, just have proper footwear. Seeing someone running around with sneakers just irks the crap out of me since I view it as a safety issue.

If you dont believe me, then take it from Duffman

Simply get a proper BDU. It will cost you around 100$ for top and bottom and you will use it all the time.

Just don't get a black one. OD is good choice to match with EVERYONE. Cadpat is also versatile.

Remember that BDU type decide on wich side you play. If you dress like an outcast, you will be on the Suck Team.
