too bad you cant make it for a 40mm granade, not more force but a better accuracy over a distance. That way a person can use it to "mark" a sniper thatis hiding in bush and again let his/her team know were to shoot or flush out,

My completely honest opinion is that it's pretty lame, Carrying party poppers around with streamers at a milsim is pretty lame. Not to mention it really doesn't appear to work overly well. Maybe it just is a little to passive for me, Just my opinion though don't let it phase you in your development.

Borrow somone's HD video camera and do it justice then! Also film some from far away to show visibility as well.

I think I would be making sure enemy units could not find or know about our 'important' locations. So if someone was new and didn't know the landmarks I'd just buddy him with someone who did, or show him the feild before the game. This looks way to noticeable imo.

Have to agree w/ Mitchel and Wilson, this is a little too close to running around the field yelling "Fireball! Fireball! Lightning Bolt!"

I'd have to say that comparing it to the lamest thing on the planet, "LARPing", is a bit of a stretch.
The whole point of these is to do the same thing an actual flare does, minus: - The danger or fire - The cost - The one-time use As others have said, these ARE extremely noticeable and mark locations great. It does what it's supposed to do, if you don't like it, that's your opinion I guess. Not everyone is into extreme 100% accurate military simulation. But these are toy guns you're running around with on the field, encase you forgot. As for an update, we will be doing a newer video on an HD camera soon. Showing in-game uses in setup scenarios. Very nice. I'll try to work on a project like this on my own (to be used in Airsoft Academy in Chile) if this is not a problem...

Also pointing out we are using toy guns is a null point, If we weren't using toy guns it wouldn't be milsim it would just be a firefight with dead people. |

I think is a really nice idea.
It is the materialisation of my thought about a safe flare that would be cheap and effective. Well done!
