Ok I see, "chair" and "airsofter". Sadly I have some points of the chairsofter but only with the "owning expensive guns and not using them". I can't be a collector since I always get bored and change guns. Still don't care about the boxes lol

Im more of a "keep only what i need for a loadout" kinda guy, I have one rifle and one pistol at any point in time. Funny though as I've recently found myself with 3 pistols and no rifle hehehe
Agreed with that last part. You shouldn't need anymore then 4 guns you actively use. One primary, a secondary full-size, and 2 pistols or mac11s or something. Anything else just seems like overkill, and you have too much money on your hands

Personally all I have is my SiG552-SD, a shitty little springer pistol I got like.. 7 years ago, and that's it. Most I want is a HK416 stubby as a back-up, and two pistols, preferably a Chrome DE and a Black DE and dual-wield them just for looks, near-zero practicality in an outdoor field, heh.

I dont feel an airsofter should limit themselves to 1 rifle, 1 sidearm etc.... A person can have as many guns as they want. As long as you still make it out to games whenever you can who cares if you have 1 rifle or 40 rifles?

Why would anyone who can afford to get more and wants more feel badly about owning more than four? Why not buy what you feel you need? I personally own an M4, an MP5 Sd6, and an M249 Para, plus some pistols. I plan on getting a Real Sword plus another full stock AR. Each gun has its own purpose.

I own like 15 guns because I use them in different combinations to fulfill different roles on the field.

I can loadout with my GR16, tornados, M203 shells, claymores and sidearms if I want to do a demolition role.
M700 and S&W .500 for a sniper role.
M14 plus sidearm for a countersniper role.
G36K, tornados + Mac11s for a skirmisher role.
MP5A4 for a close quarters role.
M3 Super90 + Revolvers for a shotgunny good time role.
Mk23 NBB for when I want to wipe out the entire enemy team role.

Plus, it's nice having spare guns for your friends to use when you decide you want to get others addicted.

hahahahaaa.... looks like im a "ChairSofter" ! :-)

actually, more of a collector. as our guns (me an my son) get used more than lots of actual playa's. it takes alot of bb's to shoot beer cans. ;-)

The boxes that the guns come with are pretty useless actually.... Once you throw a sight on your gun of change pretty much anything it won't fit in the box anymore. I only keep the boxes if I think i'll ever sell the gun, not for the $5 extra people may pay, but because it's so much easier than going out and finding a box that the gun will fit in.

And for chairsofters, I own 3 long guns, 2 pistols and should be getting another Long soon with plans for more. All my guns fill their own roles, I have a CQB role gun, Grenadier(CBQ gun+203), rifleman, sniper and should soon have the lmg. Everything is different. >.> however I don't understand people who own multiple of the same guns (I mean 100% same like 2 M4s with an eotech on each, or 2 100% plain AK 47s, only exeption is if the owner plans on drastically altering one)

Trust me, the boxes greatly increase the gun's value.

It can take a "400" dollar gun and bump it up to a "450 or 500" dollar gun... Aslong as the original box is in good condition.

As for chairsofting... Guns that I own that are not for sale:

1X PDI VSR-10 1X TM MEU

Even when I'm going full out I limit myself to 1X Sniper 1X Pistol 1X Outdoor/Indoor gun

I have a 416 and a pistol and I am happy with that, however there are some situations that I wish I had a BA for the extra little range or accuracy.
EDIT: This is my preferance, but if I am getting my gun shipped I would prefer having it wraped in bubble wrap and then in card board and taped to hell, over having it in the original box (which I'm sure is designed to take it) which does not look like it would survive shipping very well.
