I'd love to get something like that to replace my 82 pattern webbing but preferably to have the mag pouches detachable so I could swap out or swap in 40mm grenade pouches, or AK pouches.

Allright, this has definite possibilities.

I have been bugging pantac for different colors of this vest. If they could produce a limited run in say woodland would people be interested? Pantac makes a similar vest that has no pouches its just the belt and straps so you can add whatever pouches you want.

From pm's back and forth the woodland version if made would be more expensive since they cant locally aquire woodland cordura and have to look stateside for it.

Bean this is no problem. People paid 200 bucks and more for the guarder version, so if pantac make one in woodland, kakhi or od, it would be really good selled.
You got a pm from me LOL!

Have we heard any more on this? I would be down for an OD one but like I mentioned earlier if a Woodland version is going to be made available on a limited basis I am totally down for that .

I spoke with the pantac rep about this and there having trouble finding woodland cordura for a decent price. It would push the price of the vest to be kinda high since I think the cheapest they found was 8 dollars a yard in the states. Next I talk to them I will see if perhaps prepaying could sort this out so there not stuck with vests they cant sell would that be acceptable?

That's awesome bean, if it is an issue like I said I'll be grabbing an OD one. Do we have an ETA on the production ones though?

Eventually, I have the price.
We have only OD one for sale by now, the recommand retail price is around 195 USD. Of course the price may differ in different region due to the shipping cost. Are you guys really interested in the woodland version? It is hard to get perfect woodland fabric in China. We don't want to use those craps in the fabric market. We may source it from the States, and I am afraid that the cost will kill us. How about a limited edition in Multicam?

If you guys are that interested in a woodland version, but Dany is concerned about producing a product that's not pre-sold, I am willing to run the preorder for you guys if you need the assistance.
I think the preorder would be beneficial for both parties, as the buyer will get what they want and seller will know the exact numbers. I know how risky it is to create a product with an unknown outcome, especially if the price is so high. |
