More or less. There are slight performance differences between models, but they're either usually minute enough to not matter, or the guns have advantages/disadvantages in other areas to make them all similar overall.

Clones on the other hand... they can vary greatly, mostly in terms of reliability, and are more often than not worse overall than your standard higher end guns. For example, from what I've read, there is a very large difference in the quality and performance between the Aftermath Broxa and the Lycon. Some like JG are pretty close though.
