I ordered an entire CA metal MP5 cocking tube / front end from the US. It was opened and inspected by customs and released immediately. Despite the 'prohibited' classification of the real steel, the lower receiver shouldn't be restricted since it's not for a real gun.

Well, I ordered the CA MP5KA3 lower, and it came!! Week and a bit, no shit from customs. This thing is a beauty. Very little shine, very strong fibre lower and front guard, I haven't mounted it yet, but tomorrow I'll take pics ofit all so far: Nitro rail, lower receiver and handguard. If all goes well, a metal body and stock mod to finish and I'll have an awesome gun. Plus, I can paint the old furniture set if I ever want to camo it up

Seeing as Ottawa's been blessed with really nice, warm weather lately, I finally asked my roommate to take some pics of my MP5KA3 Nitro. Taken from a TM PDW, I added CA fibre furniture (front and lower), Nitro Vo. rail and 6.04 111mm barrel. I also repainted some of the parts that looked a little worse for wear. These are the first few steps of a long project that, if finished, will also have the UMP-style folding stock, CA metal body, possible silencer, and jacked up internals to get a ridiculously high RoF. Anywho, here she is in the rough:
Incidentally, I've heard of Mil-Force holsters for the MP5K and seen pics from sellers, but I have no idea what they look like on a person or with a gun in them, so if anyone could help out that'd be great.

Again, I felt like an idiot since the answer was right in front of me. With all of the Cansoft coming in, the MP5s all have black lowers, so yeah, I felt pretty dumb. As for parts, all I'm gonna say is airsoftglobal is the best place to get this stuff. The CA lower was a full $30 cheaper than UNCompany, or anywhere I saw it in stock. And it came in a week. End shameless plug.
