Hey Sim123456, how well does that Krylon camo flat black hold up against scratches and chipping? That looks like a whole new gun.
Something you might be interested in doing is lining the inside of the plastic parts with dynamat or similar asphalt-backed peel & stick or spray to help remove any plastic sound when handling the gun. Last edited by arcanuck; January 1st, 2009 at 23:39.. |

Didn't know that there was a test shooting a quarter but I will receive shortly a XT 3200 chrony so no need for it. The krylon paint is good but it feel like sandpaper to the touch. Cleaning this paint is complicated and forbid the use of scot towels. I didn't notice any plastic sound handling it, only ratle is the belt attach at the front end

I have a Well MB05 that i paint with Krylon flat black camo and mine as a tendency to chip around the bolt handle (when hit the side with the handle and on the back when you pull it). And a chip when i inserted the barrel into the stock.

I can't tell, but I am disassembling it often and if I feel it need a paint to cover up sratchs I just give it another spray. For me it's like regular cleaning
