i got tired of that issue and sold it. all i know is its definately not the recoil spring. if you are venting gas also, you may need a new rocket valve, but as i said before, get ahold of Brian.
Awesome, thanks- that's weird, there's only been about 500 rounds through it so far.
It only does that if it's not cocked 'hard' (for lack of a better term), and it doesn't have this issue on the plastic slide.

I had a KSC G26C, and it was a great little gun, the only issue I ran into was the selector for the auto/semi/safe was starting to wear.

It sounds to me like your pistol needs a nice clean up, I'd suggest getting it to someone familiar with GBB's either the KSC G18C and the G19, as its actually a cross between the two.

I'm also a little confused here, you're saying that the recoil spring doesn't return it all the way back? The recoil spring has little to do with sending the slide back, it just returns the slide to the forward position. If you're having trouble with it blowing back you need to have a look at the piston head and the little "rocket valve" that its clean and clear. Typically when you have gas venting, the first place to look I've always found is the piston head as sometimes the O-ring or head wears down.

The better spring guide is the Guarder G26C spring guide, but you need the stock spring for it; which if I read correctly you no longer have. Also, if you're using enhanced valves on your mags, then you'll need an enhanced hammer spring for that pistol; makes a very crisp clean shot, and with .43's that really starts zinging rounds down the range. Accuracy if its another thing for you with the G26C, you'll want to take the inner barrel out of the outer while you have the slide torn apart and wrap some take around the inner so that it is secured better inside the outer.

Ah, I meant returning it to the front, not the rear- sorry about the wording there.

I have the stock spring for it- I bought the gun stock, and an aftermarket metal slide and barrel for it. I've been looking for the Glock aftermarket recoil spring- found it in stock in a few places, but a fellow on Arnies swears that it feels weaker then the stock spring.

Can't seem to find it other then on UnCo, the others all seem to be another company- I think the one on Redwolf (Guarder, was it?) was the one he was talking about.

Also, there's an O-ring that came with my metal slide kit, not sure where it goes- it's much bigger then the one that goes on the inner barrel.

Took the gun apart and put it back together a few times-
Gun functions fantastically on semi (apart from hilariously bad cool-down, of course, I can't squeeze out 15 rounds in under 3 seconds), but still can't fire automatic in bursts of more then 4, even with my massive extended mag.

Replaced the metal barrel with the stock plastic one, while keeping the metal slide.
Problem seems to have been remedied, but I'm running dangerously low on propane so I haven't tried automatic.

EDIT- Tried auto, seems to work other then running out of gas really fast- I'd attribute that to an almost-empty propane tank.

My metal slide and outer barrel from UNCompany (ordered on the 7th) literally just arrived while I was viewing this thread. Dark blue box with G26C in yellow on it. Trades are in white on the slide and there's a small package containing a spring and an O-ring. I can't do anything with it just now; will have to wait until I get home from work.

Exact same one I bought. I don't know what the O-ring's for- package had 2 springs in it, they go in the blowback unit (?).

The G&P metal slide I got for my G17 had those 2 extra small springs for the blowback unit as well. I installed them, but really, I didn't see any difference between them and the stock ones. They appeared to be the same stiffness, although I could be mistaken. It's sort of hard to tell with small springs like that by feel alone.

Just a shot in the dark here, but could the o-ring be a new ring for the piston head to provide a better seal?

Oooh, that could be it- I didn't really take the piston apart though, was a bit scared.
