If its too tight and binding then there are too many shims on one or all of the gears.

Then you have too many shims on the bevel gear. Try removing one and replacing it with the next thinnest shim, reassemble and check for function.

If the axle of the gear get out of the bushing on the outside of the mechbox, is it a problem? About 0.5 mm ...

Shimming is driving me nuts on the HK 416 lol

Ready for test but I managed to blow the fuse during testing...

So Radio Shack tomorrow for the fuse replacement lol

JG do not have standard TM fuse

Now, c est le temps de pelleter

Tu mets trop de shims.

Commence par mettre le minimum pour ne pas que les gears se frottent. Ferme la mechbox et pousse sur les axes des gears pour voir combien de jeu il y a. Ensuite tu ajoutes des shims sur le dessus des gears jusqu'à temps que les axes ne bougent presques plus, tout en étant capable de faire tourner les gears facilement avec ton doigt. Si tu ne peux pas faire tourner les gears seules dans la mechbox, ça sert à rien de tout remettre dans la mechbox et de faire un test. Tu risques d'abîmer ton moteur et de faire sauter la fuse.

Aussi, quand tu fermes la mechbox avec seulement les gears à l'intérieur pour voir si ça tourne bien, tu devrais mettre au moins 2 vis pour être sure que la mechbox est bien fermé. C'est plus fiable que de la serrer entre ses doigts.
