And that's why shooting-through-a-hole chronies like this one are better

There are times when those are not 100% foolproof either, but they are much more coistant that the "folders".

I bought the Xcortech 3200 and still have my Madbull, they seem to read the same, but the X3200 is nicer to use and shows all needed info on one screen.I just find this better than flipping back and forth to read FPS to ROF.Don't get me wrong,I like both of them(yes I'm keeping them lol),but for what I do I find the X3200 that little bit better for my needs! Nice find thow SYN as I think that will help out people looking to compare as well,Cheers!

Other than some repair parts, this is my next airsoft-related purchase.

I took the plunge and ordered one of these today. If Jugglez gets it shipped off tomorrow, I should have it in hand on Monday. And since I'm off all week next week with my son (took the week off work for March break), I'll be able to do some testing.

I just received mine and it's a great little piece of gear. It's built nice and solid, and gave what I'm assuming is some pretty accurate numbers. I thing it's a perfect match of functionality and convenience. It's small and portable, and still gives you all the functionality you need.

I've just got one of these Madbull Chronograph as well, but as soon as I installed the battery that came with it, all the chrono shows is some blinking number and letters on the screen and I cannot change any of the mode options or turn it off at all.
I don't have another battery here to test it, but I was wondering if the problem is due to the shitty battery that comes with the chrono or could it be a problem with the Chronograph itself. Hey Styrak when you said you had to go out and buy another battery for it to work correctly did you have the same problem I described above?

Blinking means battery is dead, go get a new battery and you'll be good to go.

Well looks like my Madbull chorny has just fucked up. It says my ICS with an airseal nozzle and M120 is shooting 330fps, my STAR M60E4 with M120 spring is shooting 240fps, and my springer which has ALWAYS shot 220-230fps and still dents the wall the exact same as before is shooting 120fps. I will be getting my green F1 chrony back from the teammate I lent it to to test the two together. But as it is my Madbull seems to be way off.

There's a warranty on these, so if cleaning doesn't help you can email Mad Bull directly to initiate an RMA,
the email to contact is simon@madbullairsoft.com They'll fix your unit or send you a new one. |
