this is true... although i kinda think charging him is a little harsh. in other cases like this in the past (where kids who shouldnt have airsoft guns shoot someone) a slap on the wrist/ SWAT kicking the door in/ parental beatings do the trick.

it couldn't be as bad as what happen here in Markham at Markville high in 99 or 2000 where a dickhead decide it was cool to store his whole arsenal in his high school locker so his parents wouldn't find out about this facinations with guns, if i remember the total was 12 AEG and 8 GBB and I believe all of them were high end modified WA GBB and souped up AEG bought from AMC (It was one of their customer/team members)

The problem has more than one face:
Someone supplied the gun (an adult). If supplied to an adult then that idiot let the kid have it. The kid was stupid. The kid got caught. I think the adult who supplied the gun to the kid should be charged. Guess what happens to an adult who gets a weapon's charge? Criminal record. Try to get a job after that. I really wish that would happen, because the message would spread faster. The kid will get away with it (that's a problem in itself) when they turn 18. Makes them feel like all is permitted and explains why they come here and whine while letting the adult responsible for them hold the bag. Dont you love legal loopholes for kids? They scream they are mature? Ok... let them deal with the mature legal consequences right away. Let's see how long they scream that they're just children still and want their mommy. (I've seen that happen before). |

The kid is lucky. In the States, I remember a kid holding a soft-air pistol and got shot at by the cops! Has anyone ever heard this story?
And a few years ago, in Toronto, 2 kids got arrested and charged for shooting another kid in the head which got about 6-8cm into the brain! has anyone heard of that? |

All weapon style punishments should be severe, be it airsoft, softair, if they are ballsy enough to bring one to school and shoot a kid what is stopping them from bringing a real rifle to school and doing the same thing a few years down the road. And it could happen, there are enough screw balls out there. And yes the parents are definately responsible in this case for buying a 12 yr old a air-rifle because they obviously don't understand you have to be 18 yrs old for a fricken reason.

+1...my pops woulda kicked my ass up and down the block. Society is to blame for that as well, you could be charged now a days for just grabbin your own kid. The kids today know this so they've become fearless and disrespectful. And yes the parents should be held accountable if they in fact supplied the gun to the little bastard and if he purchased it himself then the store should be charged...MOH

So let me get this straight...
A peice of shit kid has been bullying another kid for a couple years. The bullied kid shot the bully with a crapsoft gun. The bullied kid is being a whiny bitch and told on the shooter and everyone that was there. Everyone ended up expelled. Correct? Edit: Sad times we live in, the next generation is shooting itself with crapsoft now... and bringing knives to school! |

So in the future, if you see a criminal act occur within your sight...close your eyes tight and yell "la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la..." while covering your ears with your hands. Also: Quote:
