Yeah I'm in the US. I'll look into the Western Arms Wilson. What is it powered by? Seriously this shits Greek to me. Battery, Compressed air? The only airsoft stuff I've handled were cheap $20 spring powered POS that didn't seem durable enough to call a toy.
Powered by Computer duster or Propane (with an adaptor) Look in our Information section for the care and feeding of GBB guns. This isn't so much for "marksmanship" practice as practice shooting on the move or from concealment at across the room and closer type distances. The kind on stuff you can't practice at a conventional range. If it will hit center mass of a man sized target from across the room (15 meters tops) I'll be ecstatic. If it'll do it from half that distance I'll be happy. If well setup, it should do that just fine. I even used meters for you Oh and as far as the age verification and profile I'm old enough to carry the real thing as a civilian and in the service of my country(Firearm not a 1911 specifically). Both of which I do. Take my word for it, I'm not 13. If I was I'd probably know the answer to half the questions I've asked. Our laws about airsoft are stiff, so until you would clarify in your user profile where you live, and how old you are, we have no idea who we are talking to. Here you must be 18+ and prove it. It also gives you access to our Classifieds section, something that is irrelevant to you. Thanks for the help guys. WWW.Google.com'ing western arms now. By the way, nice choice for a carry piece. |

thanks for the help guys.
Same question different weapon system. Need a decent M4 as well. Purpose is pretty much the same. I need to teach some weapons handling to people that don't have immediate access to a range. The weapon (airsoft) will be used to familiarize them with the weapons handling/manipulation as well as give basic rifle marksmanship techniques. Again thank you, you dont know how much help you've been |

They don't get any more decent than Systema's product.

Agreed, for your purpose go with full metal and guns meant for that kind of training anyway. Not cheap, but if it's a business you run...

Its not a business. I just have some soldier that need help with basic rifle marksmanship and weapons handling. I can't get them on a range very often and when I do there is little time for instruction. So i'd like something that I can use to get them started with the fundamentals. I'll probably be paying for this out of my pocket so if there is an alternative that is more in the $3-500 range that would be great

This thing is pretty decent in terms of build... If you're not planning on playing airsoft with it, you don't need to worry about the internals... It's basically a PTW without all the fancy things.. (All the internal circutry that makes a PTW what a PTW is) ICS guns break down pretty much the same as a real one... Go to an airsoft store in your area and check it out. Or if you want to go Canadian, get a Para-Ordnance 14.45. Not sure as to the specs on the Wilson in terms of size weight # of Rounds, but the Para is amazing. (At least I know my WA Para is. ) Holds lots of rounds, solid as a shit brick house. Looks mighty purdy too.

So get a regular AEG then. Dimensions are a bit off, I know some people don't mind. Some aspects aren't simulated as with the PTW version (don't have to cock it before firing, it'll still shoot on an empty mag, etc)... but if it's for instruction, you can make them go through the motions anyway. In that grade, you'll have different brands to choose from. You probably want full metal, so you're looking at stuff like Classic Army (CA), G&P, G&G, GB-Tech/VFC, or ICS. Most of those will run in the US$350-450 range for you (buying from a US-based retailer: places like airsplat or airsoftextreme). Different people will have different opinions on which one is best (Ford vs Chevy vs GM pickup kinda arguments); they all have pros and cons. Personally, I like G&P. VFC has nice stuff, but it's comparatively expensive.

www.google.com....... then ommit all results from outside the states. Not that hard. Im not meaning to be rude but if you have the responsibility to care a firearm as a job then you should have the basic thought not to ask a Canadian site on advice about airsoft when we have our own issues getting good stuff up here.

Maybe because the Us forums are full of 8 year olds... And i mean, If your looking for reviews on a car you would go onto a Us site.... Right?
For 200 bucks you Can get a pretty nice unit with a few mags to boot. Also i would highly recommend spending the 60 or 70 bucks and buying a metal slide so you can run propane, Which is like, let me find my old Equation... ah here we go, Bottle of propane-As low as $2 Oil, Lasts about 20 bottles $5. 5/20=.25 cents a can for oil. So 2.25 Bucks a bottle, And each bottle is what, 3 times as big as a thing of green gas. So what is that like 26 Times as much propane as you would spend on a thing of green gas, Not including an adapter but $20 is noise |
