I'm with Joey for the M4 (including the AK comment haha) but even if you don't want to go to RIS/RAS do yourself a HUGE favor and swap out the funky TM barrel for a nice solid one piece metal outer. You can get one for like $50 from AirsoftParts.ca and it'll really help solidifying the front end.
If you have extra money and wanna really make it sturdy, pick up a G&P metal body from A&A; it's a great feeling being able to pick up the gun by the barrel and just feeling one big chunk of solid (avoid the temptation to save a buck and getting a slightly cheaper body; it's a headache in the end. I think GoodRussian will also agree to that since he went through pretty much the same experience I did).
